A Chinese Police Station Has Been Busted In New York…

(FreedomWire.org) – Two New York City residents were arrested earlier today for allegedly operating an illegal overseas police station in lower Manhattan on behalf of the Fuzhou branch of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) of the People’s Republic of China (PRC).

According to the Department of Justice (DOJ), Harry Lu Jianwang, 61, of the Bronx, and Chen Jinping, 59, of Manhattan, were charged with conspiring to act as agents of the PRC government as well as obstructing justice by destroying evidence of their communications with an MPS official.

The police station, which was located on a floor in an office building in Manhattan’s Chinatown, was the first of its kind established in the United States. The defendants are accused of working together under the direction and control of an MPS official to open and operate the clandestine police station. They did not inform the U.S. government that they were helping the PRC government surreptitiously open and operate an illegal MPS police station on U.S. soil.

“This prosecution reveals the Chinese government’s flagrant violation of our nation’s sovereignty by establishing a secret police station in the middle of New York City,” said U.S. Attorney Breon Peace for the Eastern District of New York.

“Such a police station has no place here in New York City – or any American community.”

The DOJ alleges that Lu had a longstanding relationship of trust with PRC law enforcement, including the MPS, before helping to open the police station in early 2022. Since 2015, and through the operation of the secret police station, Lu was tasked with carrying out various activities, including assisting the PRC government’s repressive activities on U.S. soil.

In 2015, during PRC President Xi Jinping’s visit to the United States, Lu participated in counterprotests in Washington, D.C., against members of a religion forbidden under PRC law. A deputy director of the MPS awarded Lu a plaque for the work he performed on behalf of the PRC government.

In 2018, Lu was enlisted in efforts to cause a purported PRC fugitive to return to the PRC. The victim reported being repeatedly harassed to return to the PRC, including through threats of violence made to the victim and the victim’s family in the United States and in the PRC.

In 2022, the MPS official sought Lu’s assistance in locating an individual living in California who is a pro-democracy activist. In turn, Lu enlisted the help of another co-conspirator. Later, when confronted by the FBI about these conversations, Lu denied that they occurred.

In October 2022, the FBI conducted a judicially authorized search of the illegal police station. In connection with the search, FBI agents interviewed both Lu and Chen and seized their phones. In reviewing the contents of these phones, FBI agents observed that communications between Lu and Chen, on the one hand, and the MPS official, on the other, appeared to have been deleted. In subsequent consensual interviews, Lu and Chen admitted to the FBI that they had deleted their communications with the MPS official after learning about the ongoing FBI investigation, thus preventing the FBI from learning the full extent of the MPS’s directions for the overseas police station.

“If convicted of conspiring to act as agents of the PRC, the defendants face a maximum sentence of five years in prison. The obstruction of justice charge carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison,” the DOJ said in a statement.

Acting Assistant Director Kurt Ronnow of the FBI Counterintelligence Division said, “This case serves as a powerful reminder that the People’s Republic of China will stop at nothing to bend people to their will and silence messages they don’t want anyone to hear. The FBI is dedicated to protecting everyone in the United States”

Biden Made An Unbelievable Claim About “MAGA Republicans”….

(FreedomWire.org) – President Biden slammed “MAGA Republicans” during a speech at the Finishing Trades Institute in Pennsylvania, and people across social media skewered him for it. 

While giving the speech, Biden said, “MAGA Republicans are calling for defunding the police department.”

He added, “And the FBI now. That’s a good one. I like that one.”

Twitter users went to the platform and condemned the president’s rhetoric as either uninformed or dishonest.

For the last three years after the entire Democrat Party said they wanted the police across the country to either be defunded or disbanded, and now Biden staffers had the nerve to write this for the president to say out loud to the American people.

It’s true that some Republicans called for either defunding or abolishing the FBI after, among other things, their politically-motivated raid of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home.

But the phony claim from Biden about Republicans “calling for defunding the police department” is just just wrong when you consider the fact that Democratic leaders are on record as agreeing with the anti-police sentiment of the Defund the Police movement and/or supporting efforts to yank money from police departments in order to “reallocate” it to social services programs.

Here We Go Again, Democrat Congresswoman Blames It On White Supremacy…

(FreedomWire.org) – Missouri Democrat Cori Bush issued a statement on the heinous killing of Tyre Nichols at the hands of five black Memphis police officers and arrived at the conclusion that this too, is an example of white supremacy.

Graphic footage from the bodycams of the officers released on Friday shows they repeatedly beat 29-year-old Tyre Nichols with the victim succumbing to his injuries three days later.

The five police officers have been charged with his murder.

“Charging the officers who brutalized Tyre is not enough,” Bush said.

“Merely diversifying police forces will never address the violent, racist architecture that underpins our entire criminal legal system,” she explained. “The mere presence of Black officers does not stop policing from being a tool of white supremacy.”

Let’s be clear here – the only ‘tool’ involved in Cori Bush’s statement on the Tyre Nichos tragedy is the author.

Let us also be clear that voters in Missouri really need to raise their standards when it comes to electing people to Congress. Bush is not qualified to work at her local fast-food restaurant let alone as a lawmaker representing the people in her district.

The ‘defund police’ advocate reiterated her claim that Nichols’ death was an example of ‘white supremacy.’

“I will not stop advocating for a country where our government helps feed, house, educate and support our children, families, and community members, instead of slaughtering them at the altar of white supremacy,” she stated.

Twitter users called out the insanity of the white supremacy excuse.

NBC News Removed Report That Exposed The Truth About Pelosi Attack…

(FreedomWire.org) – NBC News caused a firestorm on social media after it retracted its explosive reporting on last week’s attack of Paul Pelosi.

On Friday’s installment of “Today,” NBC News national correspondent Miguel Almaguer went viral for stunning revelations of what apparently transpired when police arrived to Pelosi’s San Francisco home. 

“Sources familiar with what unfolded in the Pelosi residence now revealing when officers responded to the ‘high priority call,’ they were seemingly unaware they’ve been called to the home of the Speaker of the House,” Almaguer told viewers. “After a ‘knock and announce,’ the front door was opened by Mr. Pelosi. The 82-year-old did not immediately declare an emergency or tried to leave his home but instead began walking several feet back into the foyer toward the assailant and away from police. It’s unclear if the 82-year-old was already injured or what his mental state was, say sources.”

“According to court documents, when the officer asked what was going on, defendant smiled and said ‘everything’s good’ but instantaneously a struggle ensued as police clearly saw David DePape strike Paul Pelosi in the head with a hammer. After tackling the suspect, officers rushed to Mr. Pelosi who was lying in a pool of blood,” Almaguer continued. 

Almaguer concluded his report by telling “Today” co-host Craig Melvin “we still don’t know exactly what unfolded between Mr. Pelosi and the suspect for the 30 minutes they were alone inside that house before police arrive. Officials who are investigating this matter would not go into further details about these new details.”

The report made the rounds on Twitter with critics saying the revelations raised more questions than answers regarding what occurred at the Pelosi residence. 

However, not long after it was shared online, NBC News removed the report from its website and on social media. 

NBC News issued an editor’s note on its website, reading “This piece has been removed from publication because it did not meet NBC News reporting standards.”

It is unclear what specifically from Almaguer’s report did not meet the network’s “reporting standards.”

Police Reform Gone Wrong…

(FreedomWire.org) –  A new law went into effect last July in Washington state. It is described as “police reform.” This bill, ( House Bill 1054) has made significant changes in how the police are allowed to do their jobs. One of the changes put in place by the bill was a rule saying the police officers were no longer allowed to engage in high-speed chases except in very limited circumstances. In other words, if the cops see a driver doing something wrong and turn on their sirens and flashers but the motorist doesn’t pull over, there isn’t much they can do about it.  Motorists have begun ignoring the police in increasing numbers and simply refusing to pull over.

The Washington State Patrol (WSP) said drivers are increasingly refusing to stop for troopers – and other law enforcement agencies also said this is becoming a common occurrence.

The Northwest News Network reports that from January 1 to May 17 of this year, the agency logged 934 failure-to-yield incidents. While the patrol didn’t track this in the past, veteran troopers said there’s been a dramatic uptick in drivers fleeing traffic stops.

“Something’s changed. People are not stopping right now,” said Sgt. Darren Wright, a WSP spokesperson with 31 years on the job. “It’s happening three to five times a shift on some nights and then a couple times a week on day shift.”

It’s not just the State Police reporting this trend. Local cops are reporting the same thing. The Puyallup Police Department reported 148 drivers fleeing from patrol cars from July 26 of last year through May 18, 2022. The Police Chief in Lakewood, Washington told reporters that they are seeing this happen on average at least once per day.

The police believe that many people who hit the gas rather than pulling over are either drunk drivers or people in stolen vehicles. In other cases, there is no clear indication of why the suspects decided to flee.

The police aren’t allowed to give chase unless there is an increased bar of “reasonable suspicion” that the driver is impaired or there is “probable cause” to believe that the driver had committed a violent crime or sexual assault. This has basically put an end to high-speed pursuits because if they guess wrong, they won’t wind up getting a conviction anyway and the department could be tied up in endless lawsuits.

Republicans and police unions predicted this would happen. Law-abiding citizen who may have committed a minor traffic infraction will probably still pull over when the police hit their lights. However, if you know you are driving while intoxicated or you’ve stolen a car or have outstanding warrants, why would you pull over for the cops when you know they can’t chase you? Criminals will clearly be happy to risk hitting the gas and making a clean getaway rather than being hauled off to jail.

This is an example of “police reform” gone wrong. Criminals will flee because they know they have nothing to lose.

WATCH: Joe Biden Can’t Name A Single Law Enforcement Group That Backs Him

The first debate of the 2020 presidential election was very embarrassing for “Sleepy Joe” Biden, whose embarrassment caused him to become unhinged, screaming “shut up” when the President used facts to destroy Obama’s crony’s lies. But even more embarrassing than that was Biden’s inability to name a law enforcement group that backs him — not a single one.

Joe Biden is clearly not very popular with law enforcement. When liberals began screaming that we should “defund the police” after a drug addict died while resisting arrest, Biden quickly jumped aboard the hate train. Though he now says he doesn’t want to defund the police, he told NowThis in July that he wants to withhold grants and funding from police departments that don’t meet the Black Lives Matter crowd’s strange and ever-changing standards:

 If they don’t do, because you know as well as I do, the vast majority of all police departments are funded by the locality, funded by the municipality, funded by the state. It’s only the federal government comes in on top of that, and so it says you want help, you have to do the following reforms, you have to make sure you have no-knock warrants eliminated, if you have them, you don’t get Byrne grants.

Byrne grants, handed out by the Justice Department, are the “leading source of federal justice funding to state and local jurisdictions,” according to the website. Depriving local departments of this money would make police officers less safe and prevent them from effectively doing their jobs.

Thanks to his radical, anti-police ideology, Biden can’t name a single law enforcement group that backs him. “He doesn’t have any law support—no law enforcement support, almost nothing,” President Trump said at the September 29 debate in Cleveland. Then he directed his attention to Biden: “Who do you have? Name one group that supports you.”

Biden said “we don’t have time” for that answer, alleging that the President’s allegations are not true. And unlike Biden’s President Trump can actually name groups that support him. The Fraternal Order of Police, for instance, publicly backed the President in September, explaining that he has “shown time after time that he supports our law enforcement officers and understands the issues our members face every day.” This police union is the largest in the nation, so it clearly represents the whole very well. The President has also been endorsed by many other police organizations and officers.

If Joe Biden is willing to lie about his support from law enforcement (or lack thereof), what else is he lying about? It’s no wonder he refused to take a drug test before the debate — it would have been just one more lie for Biden to try to cover up. We can’t afford to let liberals win. If they succeed in November, we may not have a country left by February.
