(FreedomWire.org) – Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger called out Republican lawmakers on Twitter, and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) unloaded on him.

With footage being released, showing the husband of former Speaker Nancy Pelosi being hit with a hammer by 42-year-old assailant David DePape , Kinzinger boosted a tweet by the left-leaning Seattle Times showing Republicans who the paper claimed spoke ill of Mr. Pelosi after the unfortunate attack.

“Thanks Seattle Times for this list of people who made fun of Paul Pelosi. Hold them accountable,” tweeted the ex-lawmaker who now draws a paycheck from CNN as a member of the small army of mostly ultra-partisan Democratic party hacks and propagandists at the self-proclaimed “most trusted” name in news.

Kinzinger was immediately called out by one of those who was on the Seattle Times’ hit list, Senator Ted Cruz who unloaded on him for his pathetic and dishonest effort to get attention.

“You’re a hack & a liar,” wrote the Texas Republican, turning up his Twitter flamethrower to high, “The day this happened I said it was a horrific violent attack & I was praying for the Pelosi family.”

“What I mocked was the dishonest media (like you) that falsely painted the attacker as a MAGA Trumpster instead of a deranged hippie nudist Leftist,” Cruz said, seeking to set the record straight by calling out the crying liar and turncoat.

Cruz was spot-on, reminding “Adam Kinzinger #fella” of the hysterical story put forth by Democrats and their narrative engineers in the activist that DePape’s attack on Pelosi was politically motivated in order to smear Trump supporters and America first conservatives as dangerous terrorists in the days leading up to the midterm elections despite his past behavior that was consistent with left-wing ideology including a propensity for nudity.

Arthur Schwartz also went after Kinzinger, pointing out the hypocrisy.

“Did you demand that Pelosi’s daughter be held accountable (whatever that means) when she made light of the attack on Rand Paul? No, of course you didn’t. Because everything about you is fake — especially your outrage. You ridiculous midget crybaby,” wrote user Arthur Schwartz, calling out Kinzinger’s selective outrage with a tweet by Pelosi’s daughter who praised the vicious attack on Sen. Rand Paul by a neighbor who severely injured him with an unprovoked, vicious blindside tackle while he was mowing the lawn at his Kentucky home in 2017.

(FreedomWire.org) – Former House Democrat and presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard blasted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi amid public concerns regarding Paul Pelosi’s stock trading.

“What we’re seeing here is the same thing that I saw when I was in Congress — is this blatant corruption being exposed in broad daylight — the system is rigged. We have people in positions of power to pass legislation, to enact new policies. They can see, ‘OK, here are the industries or companies that will benefit from this. I’m going to go and make these investments, buy this stock or that stock, or have my husband or wife do it and then make money in the process,’” Gabbard said on the popular Fox News program “Jesse Watters Primetime.”

“I think it’s important also to look at this, especially in the environment that we’re in right now. What is even more dangerous than what we’re seeing here is that we have members of Congress who are investing in companies or industries that will benefit from a new Cold War or conflict, for example. And these are the very same people who are making the policies, who have a vested interest in stoking those tensions and amping up this new Cold War, directly benefiting from it, and simultaneously undermining our actual national security for our country and the interests of the American people,” Gabbard added.

Pelosi has denied allegations of insider trading.

However, Texas Republican Rep. Chip Roy slammed Democrats last month for claiming they support a bill aimed at preventing lawmakers from insider trading.

In a letter sent to Pelosi, the Texas Republican slammed Democrats for not moving with any urgency to at least hold a vote on the STOCK Act.

Roy noted that he worked with Democrat Rep. Abigail Spanberger on the bill that would prevent lawmakers and members of their families from trading individual stocks.

“As you are aware, the House floor schedule this week contains the ‘Possible Consideration of Legislation Related to the STOCK Act.’ I am glad to see the House finally taking up the idea of reforming policies related to Member stock trading. However, as one of the original sponsors of reform language — notably introducing HR336, the TRUST in Congress Act, some 2 years ago with my Democrat colleague from Virginia, Abigail Spanberger — I was interested to see the ‘final’ language via Jake Sherman’s Twitter account last night,” Roy wrote.

GOP House Leader Kevin McCarthy, who will likely become the next Speaker if Republicans win back the House in the midterms, said there will be an investigation into the Pelosis stock trading.

“I would look through it,” he said of the Democrat proposal to ban stock trading for spouses of Congress members. “What I’ve told everybody is we will come back, and we will not only investigate this, we will come back with a proposal to change the current behavior.”

“Her husband can trade all the way through, but now it becomes a crisis?” he said. “I think what her husband did was wrong.”

“I think we need to bring trust back to this institution,” he said. “I think we have to do a thorough investigation and look at what is the proper role for members of Congress and what influence they have, and I don’t think the proper way to do this is Nancy Pelosi writing the bill because we have proven that she can not do that.”

Nancy Pelosi, had initially been directed the House Administration Committee to draft legislation back in February. Still, the release of that draft this fall came at a bit of an awkward time. Just weeks before, she’d faced harsh criticism when her husband, Paul, a venture capitalist, exercised his call options and purchased shares in Nvidia, a manufacturer of graphics cards.

It was right before the Senate was expected to vote on a bipartisan bill that would see domestic chipmakers get a $52 billion subsidy, and the move received significant blowback. That bill ultimately passed in July and, amid the scrutiny, Paul Pelosi sold his holdings in the semiconductor manufacturer at a six-figure loss.

Top figures have argued that they don’t believe the bill will do much to limit insider trading, especially if the bill has a built-in loophole around the “blind trust requirement.”

(FreedomWire.org) – Police bodycam footage was released on Wednesday reportedly showing David DePape’s alleged attack on Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul Pelosi.

Prosecutors played a 15 seconds clip showing the moment when police arrived in response to an intrusion at Pelosi’s San Francisco residence, KRON4 reported. The footage allegedly showed DePape attacking Pelosi with a hammer as police arrived on the scene, as well as the moment DePape was charged and arrested.

Reporters present in court while the clip played could only hear the video, because the screen faced toward the judge, according to KRON4.

“Good morning, what’s going on man?” an officer said to DePape upon entry, according to KRON4.

“Everything’s good,” DePape allegedly replied in the footage.

“Drop the hammer!” the officer demanded.

“Uh nope,” he said.

There was an audible struggle as DePape allegedly struck Pelosi with a hammer, KRON4 continued. One officer ran at DePape and brought him to the ground, according to the outlet, while Pelosi laid unconscious in a pool of blood.

Deputy Public Defender Adam Lipson reportedly asked San Francisco Police Department officer Kyle Cagney if Pelosi appeared to be injured when the police arrived at his residence. Cagney said Pelosi appeared to be unharmed, according to KRON4.

San Francisco Police Department Lt. Carla Hurley previously conducted an hour-long interview with Pelosi at San Francisco General Hospital on Oct. 30. She was called to the witness stand during DePape’s court appearance Wednesday.

Pelosi reportedly told Hurley that DePape woke him up at 2:10 a.m. and repeatedly asked “Where’s Nancy?”

“[Pelosi] asked [the alleged suspect], why do you want to talk to Nancy? He replied, she was second-in-line for the Presidency and they are all corrupt and we need to take them out,” Hurley continued, according to KRON4.

Pelosi then called 911 on speakerphone, Hurley told the court, according to KRON4. DePape was allegedly holding a hammer and plastic zip cords and kept repeating he could “take” Pelosi “out.” Pelosi answered the door when police arrived.

DePape approached Pelosi’s right side with the hammer, leading Pelosi to grab the handle of the weapon, Hurley told the court, according to the outlet. Pelosi allegedly told Hurley his last memory of the incident is of the suspect yanking the hammer out of his hand before he, Pelosi, woke up on the floor in a pool of blood.

The court played a tape of Hurley conducting an interview with DePape on Oct. 28.

“Do you know why you are in custody?” Hurley asked.

“Oh absolutely. I’m not trying to get away with it. I know exactly what I did,” DePape told Hurley, according to KRON4. “The lies are insane. People in Washington. It originates with Hillary. Honestly, day in and day out, the person on TV lying every day was [Nancy] Pelosi. It’s fucking insane the crime spree the Democrats have been on, persecuting the rival campaign.”

“Do you mean the Trump campaign?” Hurley asked.

“Yes, Trump. [The Democrats] go from one crime to another crime. It’s a whole fucking four years. It’s unacceptable,” DePape reportedly answered.

DePape allegedly said he intended to hold the House Speaker “hostage” and “break her kneecaps” if she told him lies.

“Did you really think that she would tell the truth?” Hurley asked.

“No,” DePape said, according to KRON4.

The Department of Justice charged DePape on Oct. 31 with attempting to kidnap a U.S. official, as well as assaulting a U.S. official’s immediate family member with intent to retaliate against the official on account of the performance of official duties. He faces up to 50 years in prison if convicted on the two counts.

(FreedomWire.org) – Fox News’ Will Cain and Geraldo Rivera blew up at each other while talking about those who have used the attack on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband for political ammunition.

The two faced off on MediaBuzz when Howard Kurtz brought them on Sunday to discuss the press coverage that surrounded the assault on Paul Pelosi. Even though David DePape admitted he carried out his actions with political intent, Kurtz brought up the suspect’s history of bizarre behavior and mental instability in order to ask if that undermines those in the media who portrayed DePape as a “Trumpian right-winger.”

There are two recurrent themes, one from the left and one from the right, and people seem to be reacting to those themes even more than they are reacting to the violent attack itself.

Some commentators on the right have wanted to conclude from all the strange facts that have dripped out each day about the case that there was a gay relationship between Pelosi and his attacker, David DePape. Democrats object vehemently to this speculation, which causes further interest among conservatives who wonder why those who celebrate and parade gay themes would be so defensive in this particular case.

Meanwhile, Democrats and the leftist media have been busy blaming the attack on Republicans. They claim that the aggressive demonization of the victim’s wife, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, caused the depravity of mind that precipitated the violence.

Will Cain became passionate about President Joe Biden’s mendacious characterization of half the country over one person’s horrifying act, while Rivera mostly filibustered to keep Cain from driving that point home.

Cain began by accusing the press of seizing upon the Pelosi attack “to smear their political opponents.” He accused outlets of fueling misinformation in connection with the attack, referring to NBC’s decision to axe their report on it after determining the report was based on unreliable sourcing that didn’t meet editorial standards.

The led to Cain arguing that the media repeatedly sensationalizes news stories in order to unfairly impugn people without a sufficient basis.

“So if you put out false information, how can you then indict people for understanding that false information?” He said. “When you go from 0-60, you go from scant details to indicting an entire sector of political opponents. When you draw big, large narratives…I think that’s where the media makes a massive mistake.”

Rivera, though, called Cain’s analysis “baloney” while slamming the conservatives who mocked and spread “grotesque,” unsubstantiated claims about the assault.

“What part of what I said was baloney?” Cain said. The led to the two talking over each other while Rivera called out those depicting the attack as some some “gay tryst” that went badly awry.

“I do not think you take those scant, false, bad details as provided by law enforcement and media outlets and jump to absurd conclusions,” Cain retorted. He then accused President Joe Biden of “indicting 50 percent of America for their political beliefs” by linking the Pelosi attack to conservatives.

“You’re gaslighting!” Rivera countered. “What does that have to do with the slander of Paul Pelosi?”

The two continued to snipe at each other as Rivera went off on conservatives making a punchline of the assault, while Cain again slammed Biden for invoking a “horrific incident to indict people that disagreed with him.”

(FreedomWire.org) – NBC News caused a firestorm on social media after it retracted its explosive reporting on last week’s attack of Paul Pelosi.

On Friday’s installment of “Today,” NBC News national correspondent Miguel Almaguer went viral for stunning revelations of what apparently transpired when police arrived to Pelosi’s San Francisco home.

“Sources familiar with what unfolded in the Pelosi residence now revealing when officers responded to the ‘high priority call,’ they were seemingly unaware they’ve been called to the home of the Speaker of the House,” Almaguer told viewers. “After a ‘knock and announce,’ the front door was opened by Mr. Pelosi. The 82-year-old did not immediately declare an emergency or tried to leave his home but instead began walking several feet back into the foyer toward the assailant and away from police. It’s unclear if the 82-year-old was already injured or what his mental state was, say sources.”

“According to court documents, when the officer asked what was going on, defendant smiled and said ‘everything’s good’ but instantaneously a struggle ensued as police clearly saw David DePape strike Paul Pelosi in the head with a hammer. After tackling the suspect, officers rushed to Mr. Pelosi who was lying in a pool of blood,” Almaguer continued.

Almaguer concluded his report by telling “Today” co-host Craig Melvin “we still don’t know exactly what unfolded between Mr. Pelosi and the suspect for the 30 minutes they were alone inside that house before police arrive. Officials who are investigating this matter would not go into further details about these new details.”

The report made the rounds on Twitter with critics saying the revelations raised more questions than answers regarding what occurred at the Pelosi residence.

However, not long after it was shared online, NBC News removed the report from its website and on social media.

NBC News issued an editor’s note on its website, reading “This piece has been removed from publication because it did not meet NBC News reporting standards.”

It is unclear what specifically from Almaguer’s report did not meet the network’s “reporting standards.”
