(FreedomWire.org) – Kamala Harris on Friday delivered remarks at the 90th Annual Meeting of the US Conference of Mayors in Reno, Nevada. In true Harris fashion, she awkwardly cackles and speaks in a bizarre way.

Harris told the mayors it’s time to push for stricter gun laws as she rattled off the usual Democrat-Marxist talking points.

“We need to take action. And we know it is even more clear this day, just after the massacre of those 19 babies in Uvalde, after the killing just two days ago in Tulsa of 4 people, and after the countless lives lost to gun violence every day on streets across America,” Harris said at the Peppermill Resort.

“So, it’s clear that we must renew the assault weapons ban. We must expand background checks. We must repeal the liability shield that protects gun manufacturers. And we must pass red-flag laws to prevent people from possessing firearms if they are a danger to themselves or others,” she said to applause.

“Let us not allow those who are motivated by hate to separate us or to make us feel fear. Let us not allow that. We all have so much more in common than what separates us,” Harris said.

Then she had these inspiring words for the nation’s mayors: “And I know that each of you is up to this challenge because – you – are- the mayor,” she said cackling.

Sky News host Rita Panahi says, Vice President Kamala Harris spoke to a room full of mayors at a recent conference “as if they’re in the second grade.”

“She seems to talk to everybody on that level,” Panahi said.

(FreedomWire, org) – When Georgia revised its election laws in 2021, the National Urban League called it, “one of the most insidious partisan attacks on voting rights in history.”

The law’s changes included, measures to prevent government agencies from mailing applications unsolicited, require using driver’s licenses or some other form of photo ID instead of signature-matching to verify their identity in absentee ballot applications, and codifying ballot drop boxes into law. It mandated precincts hold at least 17 days of early voting and left in place no-excuse absentee voting, while shortening the window to apply for ballots to 67 days.

The left wanted Americans to believe that somehow adds up to a stunning and unprecedented voting-suppression mechanism.

Democratic politicians weighed in, to condemn Georgia’s law.

“It’s racist…Jim Crow in a suit and tie,” said Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacy Abrams

“A large step…away from democracy and freedom and toward authoritarianism and repression,” said New Jersey senator Cory Booker

“Anti-American, racist, and a betrayal of our Constitution,” said California Rep. Ro Khanna

President Joe Biden, made a characteristically garbled comparison that ended up saying the opposite of what he intended, “This makes Jim Crow look like Jim Eagle…I mean, this is gigantic!”

Activists called for boycotts of Delta Air Lines, Home Depot and other companies headquartered in the Peach State. “The pressure isn’t going to relent on @CocaCola and other Georgia-based companies over this Georgia Jim Crow law,” tweeted MSNBC’s Joy Reid.

In the most visible economic consequence, Major League Baseball succumbed to the contrived hysteria and moved its 2021 All-Star game from Atlanta to Denver. Even-though Colorado voting laws are much more restrictive than Georgia’s, or that many black Georgians were victimized by the loss of $100 million in tourism revenue redirected from 50%-black Atlanta to 9%-black Denver.

Now according to Tuesday night’s results, early voting in the state of Georgia shattered records, including among minorities. Overall turnout broke primary records, too, with more than 1.9 million Georgians having cast their ballots, compared to 1.16 million in 2018.

The Republicans’ counterargument is that the legislation clearly has not prevented record numbers from casting ballots.

“The incredible turnout we have seen demonstrates once and for all that Georgia’s Election Integrity Act struck a good balance between the guardrails of access and security,” Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said.

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp agreed, saying Democrats’ talk of suppression is meant to get their base riled up to vote, the Times reported.

“They don’t want to know what the truth is,” he told supporters at a Saturday campaign event in Watkinsville. “They don’t care what the truth is. They want to talk about the narrative that drives their base and helps their political polling.”

(FreedomWire.org) – During a recent broadcast, Behar claimed that the U.S. Supreme court is about to ‘pass a bill’ on gun rights.

The Supreme Court does not pass bills, that’s the job of the legislative branch.

In the wake of the shooting on a New York City subway, the cast of ABC’s The View kicked off Wednesday’s edition of the show with absolutely insane anti-gun arguments. One guest claims “most” gun owners shoot themselves while co-host Joy Behar claimed there were 130 mass shootings this year. Dumber yet, Behar warned the Supreme Court was going to “pass a bill” over “New York City State laws” that would make everything “open carry.”

As part of the performance that would make any reasonable person ask “how dumb is this woman,” Behar interrupted an asinine conversation declaring states are going to permit-less carry. This just shows her ignorance of basic civics:

This is what Behar said:

The Supreme Court is poised to pass a bill contradicting the New York City State laws. We have very strict gun laws here, and they would like it to be apparently somebody has put it on their desk that New York should be an open carry state, and an open carry city with all of the density in this city. They want people running around with guns. People – middle-class people will be leaving in droves if that happens.

Democrats and the media often complain about disinformation.

Is there a bigger spreader of disinformation than the View?
