Kamala Harris Dismisses Border Crisis As “Political Theatre”…

(FreedomWire.org) – Vice President Kamala Harris dismissed the border crisis as “political theatre” on “Late Night With Seth Meyers” Monday.

Despite being appointed border czar and tasked with mitigating the mass surge of human and drug trafficking taking place along the U.S. southern border, Harris told Myers it was a “dereliction of duty” for Republican Gov. Greg Abbott of Texas to bus migrants to her official residence.

“If you see a problem and if we agree that we need to address it, then if you’re a leader, participate in a solution,” Harris continued, clearly not hearing her own hypocrisy over her total and utter inaction to stop a single illegal footstep over the border.”

Thanks to Harris’ inaction, human trafficking has surged throughout Central and South America, as has the mass influx of fentanyl. Fentanyl, an opioid fifty times stronger than heroin, is responsible for a pandemic of drug poisonings and overdose deaths across the U.S., and is primarily trafficked into the country by cartel syndicates who purchase it cheaply from Chinese manufacturers.

But Harris’ solution is to create “pathways to citizenship” for those entering illegally, making it significantly easier for cartels to abuse and traffic in human lives. Though Harris told Meyers that the immigration system was “broken” under former President Donald Trump’s administration, from personal experience of the immigration system.

The Biden administration is the recording-breaking growth in human and drug trafficking, which has essentially been incentivized by their policies. Harris lied to Meyers and the American people on Monday night in all of her statements on the border. She and her administration have not provided a single solution to the crises they’ve normalized.

Pelosi Makes Racist Remarks…

(FreedomWire.org) – Speaker Nancy Pelosi said during a press conference on Friday that there is a shortage of workers in the United States and illegal immigrants should pick the crops in Florida. Not only is that a racist thing to say, but it is also encouraging illegal behavior. Shouldn’t the Speaker of the House know that?

She knows. She just doesn’t care. Democrats are so emboldened by Joe Biden’s leftist agenda that they no longer even pretend that the southern border should be secure or that illegal behavior should have consequences. Pelosi was asked at a press briefing about Republican governors transporting illegal immigrants to sanctuary cities like New York City and Washington, D.C. Apparently Governor DeSantis was on her mind because she referenced Florida in her answer. Democrats and their cohorts in the media really didn’t like it when DeSantis flew about 50 illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard. She said those people should remain in Florida and “pick the crops.”

“We have a shortage of workers in our country, and you see even in Florida, some of the farmers and the growers are saying, ‘Why are you shipping these immigrants up north? We need them to pick the crops down here,’” she said at a press briefing.

Step back for a moment and think about if Donald Trump or any other Republican had made that statement. The media would have gone nuts over the racist tone of a Republican saying that. Instead, it was the 82 year old Pelosi who let her racist freak flag fly as she tried to slam a Republican governor making a point about the open southern border. The media didn’t seem too fazed by the remark.

Pelosi went on to babble about Ronald Reagan and doing what Democrats always do – she conflated illegal immigration with legal immigration.

“We have a responsibility to secure our border,” Pelosi said. “We also have a responsibility to recognize the importance of newcomers to our nation. Right now, the best thing we can do for our economy is to have comprehensive immigration reform.”

Pelosi also accused Republicans of hypocrisy on the issue, conflating their past support for legal immigration with an endorsement of illegal immigration.

“Our nation is great because we are a nation of immigrants — but don’t take it from me, listen to Ronald Reagan. When I quote Ronald Reagan to my Republican colleagues, he doesn’t get any applause. Can you imagine that?” she asked.

Pelosi assured Americans that President Biden is working on a plan to finally secure the border, close to two years into his administration.

“I believe that we have to have a secure border. And I think that we are trying to address… the president has a plan to address that,” she said.

Pelosi claimed that Biden has a plan “to address” the border crisis he created. When might we be told what this alleged plan is? He’s been in office for almost two years and he says the border is secure, as does the vice-president, and the DHS secretary. The Biden border crisis is intentional so that must be his plan. It’s the only one we’ve seen. If they make it to the border and cross over, they can stay.

Conservatives noticed and lit up social media over Pelosi’s tone-deaf remarks. This fiscal year alone, over two million illegal immigrants have been encountered. That doesn’t include the hundreds of thousands of “gotaways” who have fanned out across the country without apprehension. Instead of rewarding them with jobs, shouldn’t the Speaker encourage legal immigration through ports of entry like the laws on the books state?

Democrats are everything they accuse Republicans of being. Rewarding illegal behavior only encourages more of it. It’s an insult to immigrants who followed the law and waited years for their application to live in America to become a reality. The United States welcomes a set number of legal immigrants each year, usually between 1,000,000 and 1,200,000. They are from countries all over the world. The process is not easy but they follow the law.

Pelosi has been to Texas a number of times since Joe Biden took office. She has not bothered to tour the southern border, though, so she really only gives lip service to any kind of plan she thinks Biden has. Some actions have been taken in past years to make sure that people working in the United States are qualified to do so, like the implementation of E-Verify. The use of E-Verify is not mandated by federal law but it is a tool for employers to use to make sure workers are legally eligible to work in the United States. Pelosi apparently prefers that illegal immigrants be exploited as cheap labor.

Sen. Kennedy Reveals What Biden Thinks Of Americans…

(FreedomWire.org) – Republican Sen. John Kennedy of Louisiana said Tuesday that Americans are wise to the deception practiced by President Joe Biden on the subject of illegal immigration at the southern border.

“President Biden talks a lot about democracy, as he should,” Kennedy said during an appearance on “The Faulkner Focus,” according to Fox News.

“Democracy depends on the mutual acceptance of the rules, norms and institutions. President Biden’s southern border policy has undermined that principle. He has completely opened the southern border, and he has looked the American people in the eye, and he has lied and said the border’s closed,” Kennedy said.

Customs and Border Protection has said that through August, there were 2,150,639 encounters along the southern border. With one month to go in the federal fiscal year, the number of encounters had already far surpassed the 1,734,686 recorded in the 2021 federal fiscal year.

When CBS dug into those numbers, it found that there are changes taking place in the nationalities of the illegal immigrants streaming across the border.

More than 25,000 Venezuelans were taken into custody in August, which was a record for illegal immigrants from the South American nation. The high tide also made Venezuela the second-ranking nation behind Mexico in terms of illegal immigrants crossing into the U.S.

CBS noted that when taken together, Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua made up over one-third of those arrested.

Kennedy said Americans do not “have a low tolerance for morons.”

“They don’t like being treated like a moron. They don’t like the president lying to them, and when they call the president out, they don’t like the president calling them Nazis and racists,” he said

Kennedy said Americans should not be slammed as anti-immigrant.

“Most Americans support legal immigration,” he said, noting that “the whole world wants to come here.”

“When is the last time you saw somebody trying to sneak into China? They want to come to America, and Americans support that,” he said, noting that more than 1 million people become citizens every year.

Kennedy said Americans know the difference between right and wrong.

“The American people feel that illegal immigration is illegal. I mean, ‘Duh,’” he said.

He said fearing for the nation’s safety is not evidence of bias.

“The American people look at the southern border like they look at their home,” he said.

“Most Americans lock their front door at night,” Kennedy said. “They don’t lock their front door at night because they hate everybody on the outside. They lock their front door at night because they love people on the inside, and they want to know who’s coming in and out of their house, and that’s the way most Americans look at the southern border.”

The Biden Administration Ignores The Risks…

(FreedomWire.org) – Nearly 5 million illegal immigrants have crossed U.S. borders in the 18 months since President Joe Biden took office, according to a new report.

A total of 4.9 million illegal aliens, including some 900,000 “gotaways” who evaded apprehension and have since disappeared into American communities, have entered the country by the end of July, the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) said in a statement on Aug. 16.

“Roughly the equivalent of the entire population of Ireland has illegally entered the United States in the 18 months President Biden has been in office, with many being released into American communities,” FAIR President Dan Stein said in the press release.

He blamed Biden for putting the unprecedented surge down to external factors, not the administration’s own “sabotage” of immigration laws. After rolling back key Trump-era policies, Biden presided over the largest number of apprehensions of illegal immigrants at the U.S.–Mexico border in a calendar year in history, recording almost 1.9 million arrests last year.

“The endless flow of illegal aliens and the incursion of lethal narcotics pouring across our border will not end until this administration demonstrates a willingness to enforce our laws,” Stein said.

Two million illegal aliens have entered the country in the first 10 months of this financial year, according to data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). In June, more than 207,000 illegal immigrants were apprehended attempting to cross the U.S.–Mexico border, making this the highest number of June apprehensions in history.

Although July saw a slim decline in CBP encounters at the southwest border of nearly 200,000, it turned out to be the 17th straight month with more than 150,000 encounters, representing a 325 percent increase over the average number of July apprehensions under the Trump administration, the statement reads.

Among the over 213,000 illegal aliens deported from the border in July, only 37 percent of the arrests led to expulsions under Title 42—a 7 percent drop from last month. Border agents processed the majority of the rest under Title 8, which oftentimes lets illegal aliens be released into the U.S. interior while their cases sit in backlogged immigration courts.

The Biden administration announced it would end the Trump-era Title 42, a border policy put in place on public health grounds amid the COVID-19 pandemic, which it had been forced to keep in place owing to a lack of notice.

CBP also reported 10 individuals on the FBI’s terror watchlist were apprehended in July between ports of entry at the southwest border, pushing the total for the current fiscal year to 66.

Meanwhile, CPB seized 2,130 pounds of the synthetic opioid fentanyl last month, more than three times that intercepted in June, and topping the previous monthly record of nearly 1,300 pounds set in April.

It nearly equals the total amount of fentanyl confiscated throughout 2019.

Mayorkas Is Misrepresenting The Facts…

(FreedomWire.org) – During an appearance on Sunday’s broadcast of ABC’s “This Week,” Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas downplayed what has been panned as a lackluster effort by the Biden administration at the U.S.-Mexico border.

Mayorkas told anchor Martha Raddatz he thought the Biden administration was doing a “good job.”

Raddatz asked, “What is the plan on the border? You really do have migrants flooding that area. The peak was during the Trump administration, May of 2019, at 144,000 crossings. In May of this year, you hit 240,000 crossings. You may be telling people to stay away, but they keep coming.”

“For the first time since 2011, the president’s fiscal year 2023 budget calls for 300 more Border Patrol agents. And we are hiring case processers. We are addressing this issue vigorously and aggressively, to address the amount of — the number of encounters that we are experiencing at the southern border,” Mayorkas said.

“Just a simple question: Do you think it’s working?” Raddatz asked.

“I think that we are doing a good job,” Mayorkas replied. “We need to do better. We are focused on doing more, and we are doing it with our partners to the south. This is a — this is a phenomena that not only the United States is experiencing. Colombia now has more than 2 million Venezuelans within its borders. Costa Rica has indicated that 2% of its population is Nicaraguan, and that might rise to 5%.”

Mayorkas may be the only one in America, who thinks that they are “doing a good job.”

Mayorkas Lets Shocking Revelation Slip…

(FreedomWire.org) – On January 26, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas met with US Border Patrol agents and made a shocking revelation captured on a recording. In the leaked tape, Mayorkas allegedly told the agent the problem at the border is worse than it has been in “at least 20 years.”

He went on to talk about how difficult it was to control the border throughout all of 2021, and the job has not gotten easier almost a month into 2022.

In an apparent attempt to rally the agents and encourage them to do their best, one can hear the secretary commiserating on the recording with the staff about how unpopular the Biden administration’s policies are among them. He then asked them to try and work “within the framework” given to the US Customs and Border Protection policies.

Some of the agents chimed in to express their dismay about how they feel politicians are presenting them to the public at large. One talked about the allegations against them for “whipping” illegal immigrants, and another spoke about how they feel demonized. Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz apparently seemed unhappy with the meeting, stating it became more about complaining than solutions.

Princeton Policy Advisor Steven Kopits estimates a whopping 2.1 million apprehensions in 2022, unless the Biden administration does something to get the situation under control. Needless to say, that huge number brings with it all sorts of ancillary issues and costs.
