Joe Biden’s Whistleblower Goes Public…

(FreedomWire.org) – CBS Evening News blew one of the many scandals surrounding President Joe Biden wide open when they scored an interview with whistleblower Gary Shapley, who is a supervisory special agent for the IRS.

Shaperly held nothing back hinting at a deep plot with many players trying to protect the Biden family. He said, “There was multiple steps that were slow-walked at the direction of the Department of Justice.”

He added that these “Deviations from normal process each and every time, it seems to always benefit the subject. I took an oath of office, and when I saw the egregiousness of some of these things, it no longer became a choice for me. It’s not something that I want to do, it’s something that I feel like I have to do.”

NORAH O’DONNELL: We turn now to a CBS News exclusive. For more than three years, the Department of Justice has been investigating the President’s son, Hunter Biden, for possible tax crimes.

Last fall, FBI sources told us they had sufficient evidence to bring charges. CBS’s Jim Axelrod spoke to the IRS agent who is blowing the whistle on what he says was preferential treatment in his first public interview. 

GARY SHAPLEY (IRS WHISTLEBLOWER): When I took control of this particular investigation, I immediately saw it was way outside the norm of what I’ve experienced in the past. 

JIM AXELROD: Gary Shapley is a supervisory special agent for the IRS. Where he’s worked for 14 years. In January 2020, he was assigned to what he calls a high-profile investigation. Who’s the subject of the investigation? 

SHAPLEY: I can’t confirm or deny the subject of this investigation. 

AXELROD: Why not? 

SHAPLEY: Because, you know, part of the tax secrecy laws don’t allow it. 

AXELROD: Shapley can’t say it, but CBS News has learned the investigation was the probe of Hunter Biden by the Trump-appointed U.S. Attorney in Delaware. Senior Biden administration officials have vowed to let it run its course without interference. 

ATTORNEY GENERAL MERRICK GARLAND: Not restricted in its investigation in any way. 

AXELROD: But CBS News has obtained this letter Shapley’s lawyer sent to Congress Monday alleging irregularities in DOJ’s handling of the investigation. Shapley is seeking legal protections from Congress so he can share specifics of his allegations. 

SHAPLEY: There was multiple steps that were slow walked at the direction of the Department of Justice. 

AXELROD: Had you ever encountered that before? 

SHAPLEY: I have not, no. These deviations from normal process, and each and every time, it seems to always benefit the subject. 

AXELROD: Shapley says he decided to blow the whistle after a heated meeting last October with federal prosecutors. 

SHAPLEY: That was my redline meeting. It just got to that point where that switch was turned on, and I just couldn’t silence my conscience anymore. 

AXELROD: Did you let prosecutors know you were unhappy? 

SHAPLEY: I don’t think I can answer that.

AXELROD: Hunter Biden has denied any wrongdoing. 

The IRS agent told us he is a registered Republican. His whistle-blowing is being assisted by an advocacy group with past ties to the GOP, but Shapley says this is not about politics. Why do you want to navigate these waters? 

SHAPLEY: I don’t want to do any of this. I took an oath of office, and when I saw the egregiousness of some of these things, it no longer became a choice for me, it’s not something that I want to do, it’s something that I feel like I have to do.

Joe Biden’s Secret Phone Has Been Subpoenaed…

(FreedomWire.org) – The House Oversight Committee dealt a massive blow to President Joe Biden and has subpoenaed phone records for a secret phone belonging to President Joe Biden that Hunter Biden’s business paid for.

Peter Schweizer, Government Accountability Institute President, revealed the subpoena in a recent interview. The GOP discovered the secret phone by looking through Hunter’s scandalous laptop.

Schweizer said: “We obtained that phone number and we’ve shared it with individuals and the Oversight Committee in Congress is going to subpoena those phone records. 

“And what’s important here is that’s not a government phone, this is not Joe Biden’s private phone that he’s paying for himself. It’s actually [Hunter] Biden’s business that paid for it.

“I think it’s going to yield a lot of interesting information as to who Joe Biden was talking to on this phone that was being paid for by his son.”

“It’s very troubling — the pattern that we’re seeing here,” Schweizer said about the IRS whistleblowers getting taken off the Hunter Biden case.

“You have these whistleblower complaints filed by people in the IRS that were looking at Hunter Biden’s failure to pay taxes. 

“They issued whistleblower complaint to Congress — the report is that those individuals had been removed from the case, which is contrary to the Whistleblower Law — you’re not allowed to remove somebody from their position just because they filed a whistleblower complaint.

“What happened in 2018 was the IRS looked into the fact that Hunter Biden had taken in all this foreign income, we exposed it in Secret Empires in 2018. That sort of launched the grand jury and you had this IRS investigation.

“And they basically concluded that Hunter Biden had taken in millions of dollars from foreign sources, had not paid taxes on it. 

“You have this friend, this lawyer in Los Angeles that paid two million to the IRS to pay some of the back taxes, but the IRS was looking into charges of tax evasion.

“They went to congressional committees and complained that they believe there had been political interference from DOJ. I haven’t seen the details, but this was the claim. 

“And now lo and behold, the IRS says we’re going to remove the team from investigating Hunter Biden, who had been on it now for what, five years, and we’re going to start apparently gonna have to start the whole thing over, so what does that mean to the investigation? 

“What does that mean? I think it’s massive, but first of all.

“I think it’s illegal by the whistleblower statute. You cannot remove somebody from their position, simply because they made a whistleblower complaint.”

MTG Indicates That Hunter Biden Was Involved In A Sex Trafficking Scheme…

(FreedomWire.org) – Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene leveled a stunning allegation against first son Hunter Biden this week regarding what she described as information gleaned from “staggering” bank statements.

The Georgia Republican said during an interview that the statements indicate Hunter was involved in sex trafficking schemes, citing the documents, as well as suspicious activity reports that show money being transferred between him and prostitutes.

She went on to say that at least some of the women are from Ukraine and Russia, where both Hunter Biden and, reportedly, President Joe Biden were involved in other ventures. She also referred to Hunter Biden as a “purely disgusting, vile human being” who is an embarrassment to the country.

“I am just so ashamed, absolutely ashamed, that our country has a President of the United States whose son has participated and committed these crimes, and he walks in and out of the White House every single day as often as he wants,” Greene said.

“This is such an embarrassment to our nation. It’s an embarrassment to women. It’s an embarrassment for men. Because this is not who we are,” she added.

Meanwhile, the Department of Justice is nearing a decision over whether to charge first son Hunter Biden following lengthy investigations into potential crimes over taxes and a gun purchase.

The decision over whether or not to proceed comes after federal prosecutors met last week with attorneys for Hunter Biden, the New York Post reported earlier this week.

Attorneys representing Hunter huddled with prosecutors from the US Attorney from Delaware, David Weiss, in his office in Washington to discuss the ongoing investigation that has spanned two presidential administrations and lasted for over four years.

Insiders familiar with the matter who spoke to The Washington Post said that Weiss is close to determining whether he will pursue charges against Hunter on felony and misdemeanor tax offenses, as well as lying on a federal gun purchasing form, or drop the case entirely.

Word of a charging decision comes after “FBI investigators reportedly expressed ‘growing frustration’ over the pace of the inquiry, and an IRS whistleblower came forward to allege Hunter has received ‘preferential treatment’ under the auspices of Attorney General Merrick Garland,’” The Post noted.

On Tuesday, Garland directed reporters to direct inquiries about the investigation to Weiss’s office and reaffirmed his previous statements to Congress that there were no political motives behind any delays in the Hunter investigation. Notably, Garland was not present at the meeting between Hunter’s lawyers and the Delaware prosecutor in Washington, The Post added.

“It is also unclear how Hunter’s abandoned laptop has aided the probe after the FBI seized its hard drive in late 2019,” the outlet noted further.

Hunter has been seen by his father’s side in recent weeks, including during a trip to Ireland where President Joe Biden publicly praised his son and said he was “proud” of him.

The tax investigation into Hunter’s international business dealings with Chinese and Ukrainian entities began in 2018, examining any potential violations of tax and money laundering laws. At the same time, a separate investigation into Hunter’s possession of a firearm was launched after his former sister-in-law and lover, Hallie Biden, disposed of his handgun in a dumpster behind a small grocer in Delaware, prompting a search by Secret Service agents and the disclosure of its sale to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

According to a gun purchase form from October 2018, Hunter answered “no” to the question, “Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?”

In previous federal cases, felony charges for lying on a gun form have been brought, as seen in the case of rapper Kodak Black. He received a three-year prison sentence in 2019 for falsely purchasing four guns at a Miami store.

President Biden Denied Any Wrong Doing By His Son Hunter…

(FreedomWire.org) – President Joe Biden sat down for an interview with MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle on Friday. It was his first one-on-one interview with a television reporter since February, when he spoke to PBS Newshour.

During the interview Joe Biden defended his scandalous son Hunter amid investigations for alleged tax violations and lying on a gun permit, insisting: “My son has done nothing wrong.”

Biden was asked about how his sons business and tax dealings investigation impacts his presidency, and Biden replied, “First of all my son has done nothing wrong. I trust him, I have faith in him, and it impacts my presidency by making me feel proud of him.”

Ruhle went on to ask, “Why would an 82 year old, Joe Biden, be the right person for the most important job in the world?”

Biden responded, “Because I have acquired a hell of a lot of wisdom and know more than the vast majority of people, and I’m more experienced than anybody that’s ever run for the office, and I think I’ve proved myself to be honorable as well as also effective.”

Ruhle noted that in Biden’s campaign launch video, it featured multiple clips showing vice president, Kamala Harris.

She asked whether Harris was so heavily featured because Biden was intending to hand over the presidency to her, without completing his term.

Biden said no, adding, “I just think Vice President Harris hasn’t got the credit she deserves.” He referenced her resume, pointing out her career as a senator and attorney general of California. “She is really, really very good. She hasn’t got the credit she deserves.”

Biden has frequently been criticized for failing to spend enough time answering questions. 

Overall, before Friday’s interview with Ruhle, he’ll have done 54 interviews.

By comparison, Donald Trump did 202 interviews during his first two years in office, while Barack Obama sat down for 275 interview, The Times said. 

On Friday, Biden cut short shouted questions, saying he was going to do a press conference later on.

It was later clarified by aides that he meant the interview. 

In the meantime, conservatives on Twitter mocked Biden for confusing an interview and a press conference.

Disgraced Ex-FBI Agent Defends Secretary Blinken’s Hunter Biden Lie…

(FreedomWire.org) – NewsNation host Chris Cuomo did an interview with disgraced ex-FBI Agent Peter Strzok to discuss the recent news concerning Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s contact with Hunter Biden and alleged attempts to hide that interaction when speaking to Congress.

Strzok argued that Blinken’s testimony was not so much an attempt to hide something criminal as it was an attempt to hide something politically damaging.

Cuomo referenced a claim made Sunday by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) when he told “Sunday Morning Futures” host Maria Bartiromo that Blinken had communicated via email with Hunter Biden in 2015 — but had then told Congress in 2020 that the two had not been in communication.

“Now, because of more information that’s come out, we know that he lied bold-faced to Congress about never e-mailing Hunter Biden,” Johnson said, adding, “My guess is, he told a bunch of other lies.”

Turning the question to Strzok, Cuomo asked whether he believed Blinken had been “caught” — and Strzok quickly downplayed that possibility.

“Well, Chris, I think there’s a difference between catching somebody in a criminal act and catching them in a politically problematic act,” he said. “As I read that transcript, this was a 2020 interview and they’re asking current Secretary Blinken about events that occurred in 2015.”

Strzok was fired from the FBI in 2018 after several of his private text messages — many disparaging former President Donald Trump and Trump voters — were made public, but he has remained in the public eye as a political commentator.

On Monday night, Fox News commentator Jesse Watters also criticized Hunter and his request for a reduction in child support payments for his four-year-old daughter. Watters poked fun at Hunter’s financial situation, including his earnings from business dealings in China, Ukraine, and Russia went. He also mocked Hunter’s claim of financial hardship and criticized his lack of transparency regarding his finances and art sales.

Rep. Comer Says Democrats Are Intimidating Witnesses In Biden Investigation…

(FreedomWire.org) – James Comer (R-KY), the Chairman of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, expressed concerns over the Justice Department’s ongoing criminal investigation being conducted for the purposes of covering for the first family and over witness intimidation by Democrats that could obstruct Comer’s investigation.

During an interview, Comer spoke about the pressure that has been placed on witnesses in his district, saying, “We’ve got witnesses that are scared to death to come forward. They fear for their lives.” He also mentioned that banks that had worked with his investigation were being squeezed by high-ranking officials in the Democrat Party for complying with subpoenas.

Representative Comer said that “The Hunter Biden legal team — they’re testing the limits [when they send letters that have veiled threats to witnesses]. I’ll put it like that with respect to witness intimidation. I mean just look in my district. We’ve got dark money groups that are being funded through prominent high-ranking Democrat officials in Congress. Also, the communications director for the White House continues to retweet things trying to intimidate me for having the audacity to investigate.”

“We’ve got witnesses that are scared to death to come forward. They fear for their lives,” Mr. Comer relayed. “I mean, you’ve got the banks that have worked with us, they’re being squeezed by attorneys, by high-ranking officials in the Democrat Party for having the nerve to work with us to comply with our subpoenas.”

Comer went on to express his disappointment with the way the attorneys have been behaving, adding that they are “testing the limits with respect to witness intimidation.” He also accused Jamie Raskin, a Democrat representative from Maryland, of serving as an attorney for the Biden family, saying, “He was all about investigating and impeaching Donald Trump. But then evidence emerges, thanks to us, about wrongdoing within the Biden family, and he then quickly becomes a defense attorney.”

Comer’s comments are just the latest in a string of accusations being made against the Biden family. Republicans have been investigating Hunter Biden’s business dealings for months, with many claiming that he used his family connections to gain financial advantage. The investigation has gained momentum recently, with Comer claiming to have found evidence of payments to nine members of the Biden family for influence peddling.

Despite the mounting evidence, Comer and other Republicans have faced significant opposition from both the mainstream media and the Democrat Party. Comer stated that prior to the release of the latest information, the media was eagerly awaiting updates on the investigation. However, after the findings were made public, the media has been avoiding him.

“They won’t even look at me. It’s like if they see me, they run out the back door because they don’t want to report on what we’re finding,” he said.

Earlier in April, the House Oversight Committee issued subpoenas to several banks, including Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, and HSBC USA N.A., to obtain financial records of the Biden family. Comer accused Democrats of protecting Biden and trying to obstruct the investigation.

The investigation hopes to determine whether the financial activities of the Biden family compromised national security or the President’s ability to lead impartially. The subpoenas could reveal evidence of potentially incriminating information, and the committee is following a complex money trail worth millions of dollars to provide answers to the American people.

Whistleblower With Incriminating Evidence Against The Bidens Has Suddenly Disappeared…

(FreedomWire.org) – Dr. Gal Luft, the co-director of the Washington-based Institute for the Analysis of Global Security, was preparing to reveal explosive information about a Biden family international corruption scandal. Now he has suddenly gone missing under mysterious circumstances after a Larnaca court had released him on bail, the Cyprus Mail reported.

Luft was an adviser to CEFC China Energy, which paid Hunter Biden around $5 million in 2017 alone. Luft said that he was arrested on bogus weapon trafficking charges in January, claiming that it was attempt to silence him.

“I’ve been arrested in Cyprus on a politically motivated extradition request by the U.S.,” he claimed. “The U.S., claiming I’m an arms dealer. It would be funny if it weren’t tragic. I’ve never been an arms dealer.”

“DOJ is trying to bury me to protect Joe, Jim, and Hunter Biden,” he continued. “Shall I name names?”

Luft’s lawyer said that he had given the FBI information during the Trump administration on the Bidens, which he planned to submit in a letter to Congress. He also learned that someone was selling sealed U.S. law enforcement information to Chinese individuals.

“Dr. Luft is a whistleblower,” Luft attorney Robert Henoch told the Washington Free Beacon. He asserts that prosecutors decided against pursuing Luft’s information “and are instead targeting him with trumped-up and false charges.”

“This unfortunately appears to be part of an attempt to discredit a witness with critical information about an ongoing congressional and DOJ investigation.”

Luft’s lawyer had told the DOJ that his client would submit a letter to Congress containing information on the Biden family he had previously given to the FBI during the Trump Administration.

The attorney claimed that Ye Jianming, founder and chairman of CEFC-USA, a nonprofit created by the China Energy Fund Committee, told Luft that Hunter Biden had an informant in the FBI.

Ye Jianming, founder and chairman of CEFC-USA, reportedly told Luft that Hunter Biden had an informant in the FBI who provided sealed law enforcement information, known as “One-Eye.” Ye and his associates allegedly paid lots of money to provide sealed law enforcement information.

According to Luft, he tried to inform the Department of Justice (DOJ) in 2019 that Chinese state-controlled energy company CEFC had paid $100,000 a month to Hunter Biden and $65,000 to Joe’s brother Jim, in exchange for their FBI connections and use of the Biden name to promote China’s Belt and Road Initiative around the world.

Luft learned about this scheme through his own relationship with Hunter’s Chinese business partners, Patrick Ho and Ye Jianming, the chairman of CEFC. From 2015 to 2018, Luft organized international energy conferences in partnership with Ho’s think tank, the nonprofit China Energy Fund Committee (CEFC-USA), a front organization for Ye’s CEFC. Ye confided to Luft that Hunter had an informant in the FBI “or formerly of the bureau, extremely well placed, who they paid lots of money to [provide] sealed law enforcement information.”

“One-Eye” told Ye that the Southern District of New York was investigating him and/or Ho in late 2017 and that “an Asian, an African, and a Jewish guy” were named on a sealed indictment. Soon after that tipoff, Ye offered Hunter $1 million to be his “private counsel” and flew to China, leaving his wife, daughter, son, mother, and nanny in his $50 million penthouse at 15 Central Park West. Ye was detained in Shanghai three months later and disappeared. Before he left New York, Ye told Ho that the coast was clear for him to come back to the US.

On Nov. 18, 2017, Ho flew into JFK Airport, where he was arrested by FBI agents on bribery and money laundering charges. Hunter was paid $1 million by CEFC to represent Ho, which entailed contacting his FBI sources on Ho’s behalf and engaging another attorney to do the legal work, according to emails on his laptop. CEFC paid a further $4.9 million to Hunter and Jim Biden in monthly installments for 14 months from August 2017, government records show.

Luft claims he contacted the DOJ after Ho was jailed, and federal investigators flew to Brussels to interview him for more than 18 hours on March 28 and 29, 2019. However, he never heard from them again, and less than four weeks later, Joe Biden announced he was running for president. The House Oversight Committee has released bank statements showing an additional $1,065,000 was funneled from a Chinese company affiliated with CEFC to Hunter, Jim, and Hallie Biden, Hunter’s former lover and widow of his late brother, Beau. The payments were made in increments over three months through Biden associate Rob Walker, whose wife, Betsy, had been personal assistant to then-second lady Jill Biden.

“The DOJ had this information in March 2019 and did nothing,” Henoch said earlier from Israel, where he is fighting Luft’s extradition.

“Congress has the Biden bank records but it doesn’t know the reason for the payments. Now it does. The information that the whistleblower Dr. Luft gave the DOJ four years ago is the missing link for the reason behind the China-Biden money transfers. Clearly, this is explosive stuff.”

The House Oversight Committee is currently investigating the Biden whistleblower’s allegations. Hunter Biden’s legal team on Wednesday met with prosecutors at the Justice Department to discuss potential charges against the president’s son stemming from the Delaware criminal investigation, two sources familiar with the matter said.

Hunter Biden May Finally Face Jail Time…

(FreedomWire.org) – The drama between Hunter Biden and the mother of his child, Lunden Roberts, has turned out to be an ongoing spectacle, and now Roberts is demanding that the president’s son be thrown in an Arkansas jail after refusing to hand over financial records for child support.

Hunter hasn’t provided “specific discovery” as ordered by a judge in his Arkansas paternity case, according to a motion filed Friday in Independence County Circuit Court.

A DNA test showed, “with near scientific certainty,” that Hunter Biden is the girl’s father, Circuit Judge Holly Meyer declared in a January 2020 order. That month, the parties agreed on temporary child support until the issue was resolved.

According to Friday’s motion, Meyer entered a protective order so Biden “would fully answer discovery instead of constantly objecting and asserting the need for protection.”

In a Feb. 22 hearing, the judge “entered a protective order from the bench and ordered that the defendant provide specific discovery which he had previously failed to do,” according to Lancaster.

A written protective order was entered on March 27. Meyer ordered that “all information about or related to child support including affidavits of financial means is confidential information or confidential financial information and shall be sealed.”

“In those two months [since Feb. 22], the defendant has provided no additional discovery — not so much as one single item or word — and has failed to supplement his answers at the court’s directive,” wrote Lancaster. “There is no valid excuse or justification for the defendant’s failure to provide the required disclosures as the court has granted every single protective order the defendant has asked for since the inception of this case.”

Hunter is “playing games with this court,” Jennifer Lancaster wrote in the motion for contempt to compel discovery and to modify the scheduling order.

Lancaster requested for Hunter Biden to be held in contempt and said to Circuit Judge Holly Meyer, “The defendant’s actions are a willful and flagrant violation of this court’s previous order entered on the defendant’s motion. This court should incarcerate the defendant in the Cleburne County Detention Center until he complies with this court’s orders and answers discovery. In the alternative, this court should sanction the defendant as appropriate and just.”

In 2019, the legal battle began and Roberts won a $2.5 million settlement from Hunter for child support.

Friday’s court filings also revealed that Biden’s legal team is allegedly attempting to block Roberts from retaining former Trump administration staffer Garrett Ziegler as an expert witness. Ziegler is currently being sued by Hunter Biden for allegations of harassment regarding his infamous stolen laptop.

Hunter Biden, along with President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden, have never met Navy Jones, nor have never publicly acknowledged her existence. In January, Hunter requested that the court’s deny Roberts’ request for Navy to take his surname.

The next court date will be held in July.

The president’s son has found himself to be in a plethora of legal issues over the past few years. In addition to Roberts’ child support lawsuit, Hunter Biden, a recovering drug addict, is currently under criminal investigation for both tax crimes and a felony gun purchase. He has also been under federal investigation for shady foreign business dealings in both Ukraine and China, which were first revealed through his emails in the “Laptop from Hell.”

With pressure from the Biden, Morrell then orchestrated the infamous letter from “50 intel agencies” claiming that the story was nothing more than “Russian disinformation”.

In an effort to influence the 2020 election in favor of Joe Biden, under the direction of Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Morell admitted to Congress that he organized the letter that falsely portrayed Hunter Biden’s laptop as Russian disinformation according to a letter released Thursday by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan.

Jordan sent a letter demanding Blinken answer a series of questions about Morell’s stunning testimony, as lawmakers weighed the enormity of America’s top diplomat being willing to accuse a nuclear-armed superpower of interfering in the 2020 election without evidence. That letter included major snippets of Morell’s testimony.

Morell, who retired as deputy CIA director after a long and storied career and served as its acting chief, was on the short list in fall 2020 to be Biden’s CIA director when he became involved in the letter. He ultimately did not receive the job.

In a transcribed interview with the House Judiciary government weaponization subcommittee, Morell admitted he got involved with the letter at Blinken’s request and later received a call from the Biden campaign thanking him when Joe Biden used the letter and its false implication to blunt criticism of Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings.

The transcript of Morell’s interview showed he had no intent to write the statement and that Blinken’s “call triggered” his actions. 

The same day Blinken reached out to Morell, an article was published in USA Today alleging that the FBI was looking into the laptop as part of a “disinformation campaign.” 

“Morell testified that his communication with you was one of a few communications he had with the Biden campaign, explaining that he also received a call from Steve Ricchetti, Chairman of the Biden campaign, following the October 22 debate to thank him for writing the letter,” Jordan wrote Blinken. 

Included in Jordan’s letter was Morell’s recollection of the call.

“After the debate — I think it was after the debate — in fact, I’m pretty sure it was after the debate — I got a phone call from Jeremy Bash, who I work with at Beacon and who is active politically,” Morrell told the Committee. “And Jeremy said: Do you have a minute to talk to Steve Ricchetti? I said: Of course. He was the head of the Biden campaign at the time. And Jeremy got him on the line, and Steve thanked me for putting the statement out. And that was the extent of the conversation.” 

He also testified that the Biden campaign team coordinated to release the statement on the laptop to a specific reporter at the Washington Post and admitted that he got involved to help give Biden a leg up on Trump during the debates. 

“There were two intents,” he said. “One intent was to share our concern with the American people that the Russians were playing on this issue; and, two, it was [to] help Vice President.” When asked why he wanted to help Biden, he replied, “because I wanted him to win the election.

Jordan wrote that based on this testimony, “it is apparent that the Biden campaign played an active role in the origins of the public statement, which had the effect of helping to suppress the Hunter Biden story and preventing American citizens from making a fully informed decision during the 2020 presidential election.
