(FreedomWire.org) – Bill O’Reilly predicted the Biden Justice Department’s appointment of Special Counsel Jack Smith to investigate Donald Trump will backfire on the Democrats.

O’Reilly said, “In order for Jack Smith to investigate what Trump did or did not do on Jan. 6, he has to get into the FBI and what the FBI did or did not do. He has to. He can’t bury it.”

Bill said the New York Times reported that Noting that “there were at least eight FBI agents embedded in the most virulent protesters that day. They were there. The FBI was there. Well, what the deuce were they doing?”

That issue came up in the House recently during a committee hearing when FBI Director Christopher Wray was questioned.

“Did the FBI have confidential human sources embedded within the January 6 protests on January 6, 2021?” Rep. Clay Higgins (R-La.) asked Wray.

Wray said: “As I’m sure you can appreciate, I have to be very careful about what I can say about when and where we do and do not use confidential human sources…

“But to the extent there is the suggestion that the FBI’s confidential human sources or FBI employees in some way instigated or orchestrated Jan 6th, that’s categorically false.”

Higgins said, “Did you have confidential human sources dressed as Trump supporters inside the Capitol on January 6, prior to the doors being opened?”

“Again, I have to be very careful,” Wray said.

“It should be a no!” Higgins said.

“Can you not tell the American people, ‘No, we did not have confidential human sources dressed as Trump supporters positioned inside the Capitol on January 6.’?”

“You should not read anything into my decision not to share information on confidential human sources,” Wray said.

“The question,” O’Reilly said, “was simple:

Did any FBI agents dress up like Trump supporters and go into that Capitol?

“And Wray would not answer the question. Now, that should raise flags everywhere.

“I don’t think Garland even considered that when he was mocking up the special counsel.

“I don’t think he even considered it.

“But if it’s proven to be true, and I’m not a conspiracy guy, I don’t believe the FBI instigated anything — but if the FBI knew what was gonna happen and didn’t report it to the White House and to the Justice Department, all hell’s gonna break loose in this country.”

(FreedomWire.org) – A 2021 report by Open the Books revealed that the federal government paid over $548 million to informants in recent years. That’s over half a billion taxpayer dollars.

Federal agencies paid out at least $548 million to informants working for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), in recent years, according to government audits.

A few informants became millionaires, with some Amtrak and “parcel” delivery workers making nearly $1 million or more.

The FBI paid approximately $294 million (FY2012-2018), the DEA paid at least $237 million (FY2011-2015), and ATF paid approximately $17.2 million total (FY2012-2015) to informants.

Our auditors at OpenTheBooks.com compiled this information by reviewing federal reports. While some of the data is several-years old; it’s apparently the most recent available.

The FBI spent an average of $42 million a year on confidential human sources between fiscal years 2012 and 2018. “Long term” informants comprised 20 percent of its intelligence relationships (source: DOJ IG 2019 report).

What’s worse is that the informants often commit crimes.

Federal informants often commit crimes, and often do it with the permission of their federal handlers, according to a 2015 audit by the General Accountability Office (GAO). In fact, the GAO reports:

“Since 1980, the Guidelines have permitted agencies to authorize informants to engage in activities that would otherwise constitute crimes under federal, state, or local law if someone without such authorization engaged in these same activities. For example, in the appropriate circumstance, an agency could authorize an informant to purchase illegal drugs from someone who is the target of a drug-trafficking investigation. Such conduct is termed “otherwise illegal activity.”

A few of theses FBI operatives have now become famous.

Stephan Halper, a crack cocaine addict, was paid over $1.05 million to spy on Trump associates and help set up the Trump-Russia hoax.

The FBI used at least 12 informants out of 15 individuals to plot, plan, pay for, and execute the Whitmer kidnap hoax.

(FreedomWire.org) – FBI Director Chris Wray seemed to contradicted Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Tuesday.

During a House Homeland Security Committee, Secretary Mayorkas was called to testify,  Rep. Sanford Bishop (R-NC) directed a straightforward question to Mayorkas, which the embattled security chief directly answered.

Bishop first asked Mayorkas, “do you continue to maintain that the border is secure?”

Mayorkas answered, “yes, and we are working day in and day out to enhance its security congressman.”

Rep. Bishop quickly cut off Mayorkas from trying to explain or qualify his “yes” response and pivoted to asking FBI Director Asher Wray the same question.

Bishop then question director Wray, “do you believe the border is secure?”

Wray responded, “Well, I can only speak to border security from our narrow lane. I can speak to it from that lane.”

Wray continued, “We see transnational criminal organizations that are sending their drugs here and that are using street gangs here to distribute it. And that contributes to the violent crime crisis here.”

Director Wray’s assessment of the “significant” criminal activity along the border completely contradicts Mayorkas assertion that the border continued to be secure

“We see significant criminal threats coming from south of the border, whether its guns, drugs, money, violence, we see transnational criminal organizations that are sending their drugs here and that are using street gangs here to distribute it here, and that contributes to the violent crime crisis here,” added Wray.

Wray went on to say that during one joint Border Patrol/ FBI takedown alone, the amount of fentanyl that was seized was enough to kill the entire population of Pennsylvania.

Since President Biden took office, the border crisis and criminal human and drug trafficking have reached staggering levels and Republicans have been able to politically capitalize on the growing crime wave that has swept the nation as a result of the border crisis.

“Mayorkas continues to either lie to Congress or is ignorant. Director Wray’s clear admission cartels are rampant at the border undercuts the Biden Administration’s claim. A GOP majority we will continue to expose these falsehoods through investigations,” stated Rep. Michael Waltz (R) in response to The Floridian’s request for comment.

Congressman-elect Cory Mills, who was one of the very few Republican congressional candidates in the country to actually travel to the U.S.-Mexico border to access the crisis, believes that the Biden administration needs to be held accountable for compromising U.S. national security by refusing to secure the southern border.

“We will hold the Biden administration accountable for every single one of their dangerous and unconstitutional missteps that have put Americans in harm’s way,” said Mills.  “The open border policy this administration has put in place is an imminent threat to our national security and our nation’s sovereignty.”

“There is no way you can say the border is secure if you look at it at any level,” said Rep. Gallego when asked about the Mayorkas remark that the border was secure.

Rep. Pfluger to Mayorkas: “How can you say the border is secure? The American people aren’t buying it.”

(FreedomWire.org) – Sworn testimony in the trial of a Russian operative said to be the primary source behind former British spy Christopher Steele’s “dossier” on then-GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump was laced with a bombshell revelation.

Under questioning from special counsel John Durham in the trial of Igor Danchenko, FBI analyst Brian Auten testified that the bureau offered Steele $1 million if he could provide evidence that the explosive claims against Trump contained in the dossier were true, but the former MI6 spy could not do so.

Auten testified that he and a group of FBI agents met with Steele in October 2021, years after he presented his dossier to handlers, and offered him the million-dollar stipend if he could provide factual evidence backing up the salacious allegations contained in the dossier, according to Fox News. The offer came years after Director James Comey’s FBI used the dossier to obtain warrants from the FISA court to spy on a member of Trump’s 2016 campaign.

“On October 21, 2016, did you have any information to corroborate that information?” special counsel John Durham asked Auten, in reference to the date of the first FISA application filed to put former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page under surveillance. Auten responded: “No,” according to Fox News.

“You & your colleagues took the info & put it in the Carter Page FISA application. You didn’t have corroboration from FBI databases from other intel agencies, or from Christopher Steele & it still went into a FISA application?” Durham asked Auten. Auten responded, “correct.”

Danchenko has been charged with five counts of lying to the FBI.

Auten testified that the FBI offered Steele “up to $1 million” for proof substantiating allegations made in a series of reports to the bureau over the course of several months in 2016. The analyst said Steele never received any money because he could not “prove the allegations,” according to CNN. Steel’s reports were eventually compiled into the dossier first published by BuzzFeed News in January 2017.

Danchenko has pleaded not guilty to lying to the FBI. His trial is the last scheduled as part of special counsel John Durham’s investigation into the origins of the Trump/Russia collusion hoax before Durham issues his final report.

“Sept. 19, 2016, was also the day that then-Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann brought white papers to a meeting at FBI headquarters with then-FBI General Counsel James Baker that alleged the Trump Organization was using a secret back channel to communicate with Kremlin-linked Alfa Bank in the weeks leading up to the presidential election,” Fox News reported, adding that Sussmann was found not guilty by a DC jury in June of making false statements to the FBI.

“Auten also said the FBI reached out to other intelligence agencies to see if they could corroborate information relating to dossier, which was commissioned by opposition research firm Fusion GPS and paid for by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee through law firm Perkins Coie,” the network’s report continued. “Auten repeatedly admitted under questioning from Durham that the FBI never received corroboration of the information in the Steele dossier, but he stressed that it was used in the initial FISA application and in the three subsequent renewals.”

A subsequent investigation into the entire FBI counterintelligence probe into Trump and his campaign by Michael Horowitz, the Justice Department inspector general, found that the dossier was the primary source for the investigation. During Trump’s term, majority Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee — then led by California’s Devin Nunes, now serving as CEO of Trump’s budding new media company — were the first to discover that the dossier was used to trigger the investigation into Trump.

Auten also testified Tuesday that the FBI considered submitting FISA applications against Trump campaign foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos but said the FBI ultimately did not do so.

In March 2016, as an aide to the Trump campaign focusing on foreign policy, Papadopoulos met with Maltese professor Joseph Mifsud in London who told him that the Russians had dirt in the form of emails that could damage Clinton’s presidential campaign. …

Mueller’s investigation yielded no evidence of criminal conspiracy or coordination between the Trump campaign and Russian officials during the 2016 presidential election.

(FreedomWire.org) – U.S. Army Major Dr. Jamie Lee Henry, who came out as the first openly trans officer on 2015, is accused of betraying the military and country he serves by working with his wife Dr. Anna Gabrielian, an anesthesiologist at Johns Hopkins, to give medical records to Russia on patients at Fort Bragg and Hopkins, according to an indictment unsealed Thursday by the Department of Justice. The couple was dealing with an undercover FBI agent posing as a Russian embassy staffer after Gabrielien had allegedly reached out to the Russian embassy. Gabrielian reportedly calimed she was motivated by patriotism for Russia. Gabrielian’s profile at Hopkins says she speaks Russian and English.

A federal grand jury has returned an indictment charging Anna Gabrielian, age 36, and her husband, Jamie Lee Henry, age 39, both of Rockville, Maryland, with conspiracy and for the disclosure of individually identifiable health information (“IIHI”), related to their efforts to assist Russia in connection with the conflict in Ukraine. The indictment was returned on September 28, 2022 and unsealed today upon the arrest of the defendants.

Gabrielian is scheduled to have initial appearance at 11:30 a.m. today, in U.S. District Court in Baltimore before U.S. Magistrate Judge Brendan A. Hurson. Henry is also expected to have an initial appearance today, although a time has not yet been set.

The indictment was announced by United States Attorney for the District of Maryland Erek L. Barron and Special Agent in Charge Thomas J. Sobocinski of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Baltimore Field Office.

As stated in the indictment, Gabrielian is an anesthesiologist and worked at Medical Institution 1, located in Baltimore, Maryland. Henry, a Major in the United States Army, who held a Secret-level security clearance, is Gabrielian’s husband and a doctor. During the time of the alleged conspiracy, Henry worked as a staff internist stationed at Fort Bragg, the home of the Army’s XVIII Airborne Corps, headquarters of the United States Army Special Operations Command, and the Womack Army Medical Center.

(FreedomWire.org) – A top FBI agent based in Washington, D.C., reportedly resigned from his position last week after being accused of attempting to thwart a criminal investigation into Hunter Biden.

Timothy Thibault, an FBI assistant special agent in charge, was escorted out of the Washington field office by at least two “headquarters-looking types” last Friday, sources told the Washington Times on Monday.

Thibault had already been on leave since FBI director Christopher Wray revealed during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing earlier this month that he found the whistleblower claims against the agent and his colleague, FBI supervisory intelligence analyst Brian Auten, “deeply troubling.”

Republican senator Chuck Grassley wrote to Wray in July that he believed the pair had orchestrated a “scheme” to “undermine derogatory information connected to Hunter Biden by falsely suggesting it was disinformation.” The senator also alleged that Thibault had tried to shut down criminal probe pathways into the president’s son until at least one month before the November 2020 election.

“Thibault allegedly ordered the matter closed without providing a valid reason as required by FBI guidelines … [and] subsequently attempted to improperly mark the matter in FBI systems so that it could not be opened in the future,” Grassley said.

“In October 2020, an avenue of additional derogatory Hunter Biden reporting was ordered closed at the direction of ASAC Thibault… [when] all of the reporting was either verified or verifiable via criminal search warrants,” the senator added.

Some Republicans have insisted that Thibault may have been motivated by malicious political bias, pointing to his social-media history, including a retweet of a Lincoln Project message that called former president Trump a “psychologically broken, embittered and deeply unhappy man.”

In November 2020, the New York Post broke the Hunter Biden laptop story, unveiling emails related to his foreign business dealings, which included introducing his father, who was then serving as vice president, to his Chinese associates. The computer also contained footage of Hunter Biden doing drugs and having sex with prostitutes.

Last week, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg admitted on Joe Rogan’s podcast that Facebook suppressed stories about Hunter Biden’s laptop before the 2020 election after the FBI told the company they should look out for Russian “misinformation.”

The “distribution” of the bombshell report was limited on the social media platform for “five or seven” days when the laptop was still being authenticated, leading to a situation in which “fewer people saw it than would have otherwise,” he said. Zuckerberg said the FBI didn’t specifically ask Facebook to flag the Biden laptop story but suppressed it anyway after deciding it qualified as potential Russian propaganda.

(FreedomWire.org) – Rep. Jim Jordan Wednesday said there’s “real concern” about an allegedly political climate in the FBI that is leading to some people being retaliated against for “disfavored political speech.”

Jordan, R-Ohio, made the comments the day after sending a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray alleging two instances in which FBI employees were punished for political speech surrounding the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.

“It’s a real concern. I don’t know how pervasive it is,” Jordan told Fox News Digital. “But what I do know is that we’ve had a lot of people, more than half a dozen in the FBI… come forward to our Republican staff on the Judiciary.”

Jordan’s Tuesday letter alleged one employee’s security clearance was suspended, as was his duty and pay, for allegedly sharing views “that the FBI was not being entirely forthcoming about the events of January 6.” That individual was a military veteran with a record of being highly successful in the FBI, according to Jordan.

According to Jordan’s letter, lawyers for the individual called the FBI’s allegation a “distortion” and a “monumental leap from objective fact.”

He also said the FBI “escalated an adverse personnel action” against another employee over an answer on an anonymous survey sent to employees after Jan. 6

Jordan told Fox News Digital Wednesday these people are not the first to come to his team with similar allegations. He also said that he has confidence Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz will properly handle the allegations after Jordan brought similar stories from other FBI employees to him previously.

“We have talked to the inspector general relative to [a previous] letter… about the two agents who were on their day off who were at the Jan. 6 rally,” Jordan said. “But we have not yet communicated to the inspector general that was made public yesterday.”

Jordan added: “I’ve always through that Mr. Horowitz does good work, and he’s a professional.”

(FreedomWire.org) – Michael Sussmann was found not guilty of lying to the FBI, despite the evidence that he was working for the Clinton campaign and that he told FBI General Counsel James Baker that he was not working for any client.

One of the jurors revealed how they came to the decision to acquit.

After the verdict, the jury forewoman, who declined to give her name, spoke to the media. She said charges should never have been filed against Mr. Sussmann in the first place.
“I don’t think it should have been prosecuted,” she said of the case. “There are bigger things that affect the nation than a possible lie to the FBI.”

“It was the government’s job to prove it and they succeeded in some ways and not in others,” she continued. “We broke it down and it did not pan out in the government’s favor.”

“Politics was not a factor,” she insisted.

That means that the jury may have been replacing their own judgment about whether it should have been prosecuted at all, instead of weighing what they should have been weighing. Which was whether or not they could find that he lied to the FBI beyond a reasonable doubt.

As George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley observed in a Twitter thread, “Telling a lie to the FBI was the entire basis for the prosecution. It was the jury’s job to determine the fact of such a lie and its materiality.” Turley allowed, “This statement can be a simple criticism of the underlying charge without admitting to bias in weighing the elements. Yet, it would have prompted a challenge in the courtroom if expressed during jury selection.”

Turley had previously noted the problem with the jury.

Some took to twitter to show outrage in the juries decision.

(FreedomWire.org) – Former FBI official James Baker’s testimony on Thursday destroyed former Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann. The charge against Sussmann is that he lied to the FBI, specifically Baker, telling him that he wasn’t acting on behalf of any client. He asked for a meeting with Baker and that is when Sussman told Baker about the false Alfa Bank allegations, supposedly showing a back channel between the Trump organization and Russia.

Baker testified that he was “100 percent confident” that Sussmann denied working “on behalf of any particular client” to him.

“I think it was pretty close to the beginning of the meeting. Part of his introduction to the meeting,” former FBI general counsel James Baker told jurors in Washington, DC, federal court.

According to his indictment, the cybersecurity lawyer was allegedly acting on behalf of the Clinton campaign and Rodney Joffe, a tech executive and client who told him about computer data that purportedly revealed a secret back channel between a Trump Organization server and Russia’s Alfa Bank.

“He said that he was not appearing before me on behalf of any particular client,” Baker recalled.

The prosecution also entered a text from Sussmann himself, which backed up Baker’s testimony, because in it, Sussmann explicitly claimed he was coming to talk to Baker not on behalf of any client.

Baker treated Sussmann as a confidential source and didn’t even tell FBI agent Scott Hellman where he got the thumb drives of information from that he got from Sussmann. “I do remember I was frustrated at not being able to ID who had provided these thumb drives to Mr. Baker. He was not willing to tell me,” Hellman said.

Hellman said it was obvious to him that the the information wasn’t valid.

“I felt that whoever had written that paper had jumped to some conclusions that were not supported by the technical data,” he said.

“I did not feel they were objective in the conclusions they came to. The assumption is so far-reaching it just didn’t make any sense.”

Hellman speculated that whoever authored the report simply searched for “Trump” on a dataset of email servers to make the since-debunked connection.

Baker said Sussmann told him a reporter was working on a story about the information, which Baker said made it more urgent to investigate the information because if a story came out, the information might then be buried or done away with before he could determine whether or not it was valid.

Baker told Bill Preistap, the assistant director of the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division, immediately about the information, and that Sussmann said he was not working on behalf of any client, something Priestap also recorded in his notes, “Said not doing this for any client.”

Baker also told Director James Comey, Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and then-FBI later Trisha Anderson. Anderson also noted in her notes that were entered into evidence, “No specific client.”

However, during Marc Elias’ testimony, a variety of records showed that Sussmann was working for and billing time spent, including the conversation with Baker, to the Clinton campaign.

It was pretty obvious from the testimony from Baker, that Sussmann did indeed lie.

(FreedomWire.org) – According to FBI whistleblowers, Attorney General Merrick Garland and his DOJ were, in fact, targeting school parents using similar threat tags usually reserved for terrorists.

Reps. Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Mike Johnson (R-LA) wrote a letter to Garland regarding the bombshell allegations.

“We have learned from brave whistleblowers that the FBI has opened investigations with the EDU OFFICIALS threat tag in almost every region of the country and relating to all types of educational settings,” the lawmakers wrote. “The information we have received shows how, as a direct result of your directive, federal law enforcement is using counterterrorism resources to investigate protected First Amendment activity.”

“Garland, in sworn testimony before the Senate in October, assured lawmakers his memo did not instruct the bureau to open up investigations into local matters involving school boards and parents. The National School Boards Association apologized for its role in the affair amid accusations it had colluded with the White House to sic the DOJ on parents,” the Daily Wire reports.
