Former Press Sec. Jen Psaki Faces Criticism After New MSNBC Show Premieres…

(FreedomWire.org) – Former Biden White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki premiered her new show on MSNBC recently and she’s already facing blowback.

As Tom Elliot pointed out on Twitter, Psaki attempted a segment where she attacked Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis over his views on Ukraine. Psaki, who is supposed to be this great communicator, instead grabbed headlines when she persistently began waving her arms all over the place while trying to make a point.

“Okay. So, if you’re having a hard time following, you’re not alone. But let me try to recap here. It’s nothing more than a territorial dispute, but the person overseeing this, little territorial dispute, is a war criminal. But at the same time, we have to worry much more about our own border than said war criminal. Got it, okay, I think. And look, I know there are politics involved here. Of course there are. This is a potential presidential primary that he’s gonna get himself engaged in. But this isn’t just about positioning in a Republican primary. The rest of the world actually watches stuff like this very closely, including Vladimir Putin. If he sees the two leading Republican candidates for president waffling on support for Ukraine, it gives some incentive to wait out the next year and a half and continue to pulverize Ukrainian civilians, rather than even being open to negotiating anything,” Psaki began.

“So, Ron DeSantis may think this is just another political issue to manage in a primary, but what he is saying could actually impact the war. Europeans are watching this, too, and if they think the United States might waver in their support, that can impact their calculus as well. Look, I was with President Biden on his first overseas trip as president when the common concern he heard from other foreign leaders was whether they could depend on our commitment to our values and to our partners after four years of Donald Trump. ‘How long would it last?’ was their question,” Psaki said.

“And you better believe that those concerns will resurface if they are sensing a return to the isolationist sentiment from the leading Republican candidates for president. Now, it may be that Ron DeSantis has lurched away from Trump on this issue and is a firm supporter of helping Ukraine. It may be that he’s lurched back. I honestly can’t tell. But what I do know is this: Consistency matters. Commitment to values matters. And at the moment, Ron DeSantis isn’t showing much of either of those,” she added.

Psaki raised eyebrows last week when she gushed over President Joe Biden delivering a speech.

During an interview on MSNBC, Psaki, where she now works as a host, praised Biden for giving a speech at 9 AM about the urgent banking crisis facing the country.

“It’s important to note President Biden does nothing at 9 AM … The fact that he’s doing this at 9 AM anyway speaks to how vital the White House recognizes it is for him to have his voice out there…” Psaki told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Monday.

Both Trump And DeSantis Shot Down This Idea…

(FreedomWire.org) – Former President Trump and Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla) doubted being each other’s 2024 running mates. 

On separate occasions this week, the two Republicans addressed the possibility that they would run together for GOP nomination. However, both of them shot down the idea. 

DeSantis said he sees himself as “more of an executive guy,” adding that he gets things done rather than leaving Americans with broken promises. 

“I think I’m probably more of an executive guy,” the governor told Newsmax. “I think that you want to be able to do things. That’s part of the reason I got into this job because we have action. We can make things happen, and I think that’s probably what I am best suited for.”

He called the idea of having Trump as a running mate an “interesting speculation.” 

“The whole party, regardless of any personalities or individuals, you have got to be looking at 2024 and saying, if the Biden regime continues, and they’re able to pick up 10-15 seats in the House and a Senate seat or two, this country is going to be in really, really bad shape,” DeSantis continued. 

Meanwhile, Trump said it is “very unlikely” he would recruit the Florida governor as his sidekick in 2024. 

“No, I think that would be a very unlikely alliance,” Trump told Newsmax. “We have a lot of great people in the Republican Party. I’ve never thought of it, but, you know, some people every once in a while mention it, but that’s about it.”

Trump once again took credit for DeSantis’s fame, claiming he was the one who got the governor elected. 

“He was failing badly in the polls. He was out of politics. He was going to be out of politics, and I endorsed him,” Trump said. “And he went from a very small number to a very high number. I had rallied for Ron, and we got him in. Then a couple of years later, they said, ‘Would you run against the president for president?’ He said, ‘I have no comment.’ I said, ‘That’s not supposed to happen.'”

Soros-Backed Group Takes Swing At DeSantis…

(FreedomWire.org) – A George Soros-backed organization suing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis may face its own legal scrutiny for violating federal tax laws.

Alianza Americas, a nonprofit funded by Soros’ Open Society Foundations, has been made the target of an ethics complaint for failing to disclose lobbying on two years of its IRS Form 990 IRS tax returns, according to the Washington Examiner.

Alianza is suing DeSantis for transporting illegal aliens from his state to Martha’s Vineyard last year.

Authorities hurried to bus the migrants out of the Massachusetts community after DeSantis initially sent them.

The group claimed that DeSantis had targeted “non-white” illegal aliens in its lawsuit, describing the free transportation to the luxury island as an “illegal and fraudulent scheme.”

Alianza filed suit against DeSantis in his official and personal capacities in September.

The open borders group has received more than $1.7 million dollars from Soros, a leftist oligarch known for handsomely funding progressive causes.

The National Legal and Policy Center is calling for Alianza to face “civil or criminal penalties” such as the loss of its tax-exempt status for the improprieties.

The charity watchdog referred the Soros-funded group to the IRS in a Wednesday document.

The watchdog accused Alianza of carrying out more than 200 “visits to Congress” between 2017 and 2019, in addition to Congressional briefings advocating for legal privileges for illegal immigrants.

Nonprofit organizations can conduct lobbying if they disclose the practice in their tax returns. Alianza has continued its operations in Congress after leaving them out of the group’s tax returns, according to the Examiner.

Other skeptics of the organization have discovered its listed office address vacant.

Chicago Republicans visited Alianza’s listed address twice in December, only for the nonprofit’s neighbors to reveal that its employees no longer used the office space, according to Fox News.

“I guess it’s not surprising that they operate like a shadow organization, when it would seem that they are repeatedly disregarding the rules, evading investigation, while likely breaching a series of laws designed to maintain the sovereignty of the United States,” Chicago GOP spokesman Jeff Fielder said of the nonprofit, according to Fox.

Alianza has raked in $8.5 million in grands from the federal Department of Health and Human Services — payments which have spurred House Republicans to question if taxpayer dollars were spent to fund the group’s open borders lobbying activity.

Such a use of federal grants is illegal, according to the Examiner.

DeSantis Vows To Take Action Against Communist China…

(FreedomWire.org) – On Tuesday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis vowed to take action against Communist China as they continue to buy up American land.

“When they have interests that are opposed to ours and you see how they’ve wielded their authority, especially with President Xi, who’s taken a much more Marxist turn since he’s been ruling China, [it] is not in the best interests of Florida to have the Chinese Communist Party owning farmland, owning land close to military bases,” DeSantis said.

The Florida governor indicated that he would block Chinese operatives from purchasing land in his state.

DeSantis noted people with ties to the CCP have been “gobbling up land” in the U.S. and other parts of the Western Hemisphere, sparking concerns that the regime of President Xi is establishing tentacles in foreign lands. He warned that Beijing is working with globalists to undermine the West, and buying property is one part of the strategy.

China owns more than 1.2 million acres of U.S. land, according to the American Enterprise Institute. Those holdings include nearly 700,000 acres of farmland and about 500,000 acres of commercial and industrial property in states including California, Iowa, Nebraska, and Oklahoma. A Chinese firm owned by a billionaire with close CCP ties is building a massive wind farm about 70 miles from Laughlin Air Force base in southwest Texas, according to a 2020 report by Foreign Policy.

DeSantis, who made the remarks during a visit to Bonita Springs, Florida, said he is opposed not only to China controlling farmland and acreage close to military bases but also to the CCP purchasing homes.

“My view is, okay, yeah, no farmland, but why would you want them buying residential developments or things like that?” DeSantis said. “I don’t want them owning subdivisions or things like that.”

The Florida governor emphasized that it would be difficult to block those with hidden ties to the CCP.

“The issue’s going to be if someone comes in and buys, it’s not the CCP that’s signing that,” he said. “These are holding companies. You’ve got to structure [legislation] in a way that will effectively police it. But yes, we do not need to have CCP influence in Florida’s economy.”

“We banned the Confucius Institutes from our universities and our state colleges,” he said. “They have used those Confucius Institutes across the country to basically bring propaganda into our universities — as if our universities don’t have enough problems already.

“We’ve also done things to limit their ability to fund research in our universities,” DeSantis continued. “I think we’re going to go even further than that. The legislature only went so far a couple years ago.”

DeSantis also lashed out at Wall Street and the entertainment industry for getting in bed with China.

“And it hurts us,” he said. “It hurts our economic vitality. It hurts our security.

“But this has been going on for many, many decades, so disentangling from China — I think it’s something that is very, very significant going forward,” he added.

DeSantis Announced He Will Hold The Medical Establishment Accountable…

(FreedomWire.org) – DeSantis held a roundtable discussion on Tuesday with state Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo and a bevy of world-renowned physicians, researchers, and public health experts, at which he announced his intentions to hold the federal government and Big Pharma accountable. 

He announced three major steps:

Filing a petition with the Florida Supreme Court to impanel a statewide grand jury to investigate crimes and wrongdoing committed against Floridians related to the COVID-19 vaccine.

Establishing a public health integrity committee that will be overseen by Ladapo to assess federal public health recommendations to ensure that Florida’s public health policies are tailored for Florida’s communities and priorities.

Conducting further investigation into the sudden deaths of individuals who received the COVID-19 vaccine in Florida, based on autopsy results. The state will collaborate with the University of Florida to compare research with studies conducted in other countries. 

Probably the most powerful element within this set of actions is the statewide grand jury because of its ability to compel the pharmaceutical industry to release patient-level data to independent researchers. The grand jury does need to be approved by the Florida Supreme Court, but that’s unlikely to be a problem. 

The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines were given “emergency use authorization” by the FDA and continue to be deemed safe and effective for pediatric and adult patients, even though the vaccines self-evidently do not, and never did, prevent transmission. Adverse events have been gamed in reporting throughout the federal government and health care systems, led by the unholy trio of the federal leviathan, Big Pharma, and the Biden Administration. 

DeSantis said at the end of the roundtable that the grand jury will be able to “investigate any and all wrongdoing in Florida with respect to COVID-19 vaccines” and be an avenue to provide “legal accountability” for anyone who committed criminal misconduct. It may also shed a lot more disinfecting light on the entire affair. 

The public health integrity committee, overseen by the state surgeon general, will dive into assessing federal decisions, recommendations, and guidelines related to public health and healthcare. 

Many of the members of the committee will be familiar to people following the counter-vaccine movement. Most have been silenced, fired, banned from social media and attacked incessantly by incandescently idiotic members of the statist media.

“Health care professionals should always communicate the risks of a medical intervention to their patients in a manner that is clinically appropriate and meets standards of ethical practice. President Biden and Big Pharma have completely prevented that from happening—it is wrong,” Ladapo said. “With these new actions, we will shed light on the forces that have obscured truthful communication about the COVID-19 vaccines.” 

The third element of DeSantis’ actions could prove as lethal to the vaccines as the rest. German researchers reported disturbing results last month after studying a set of autopsies on people who died unexpectedly within 20 days after getting the vaccine. The German scientists found almost 20 percent of the deaths appeared due to acute arrhythmogenic cardiac failure, or myocarditis, a known common side effect of the vaccines. 

So Florida will begin a monitoring study on myocarditis and COVID deaths in conjunction with Florida’s medical examiners and the University of Florida. 

This could become one of the biggest stories of 2023, even if the corporate media tries to hide it.

DeSantis Exposed FEMA Withholding Hurricane Relief…

(FreedomWire.org) – Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is sounding the alarm after the Federal Emergency Management Agency denied a state request for assistance following following Hurricane Ian.

DeSantis revealed Monday that the federal disaster agency denied a request for $25 million in funding to repair damaged houses impacted by the hurricane on Monday, according to Fox News.

“Unfortunately, we got word last week that FEMA had denied our request for funding our state-led housing initiative, citing their ‘limited authority,’” DeSantis revealed.

However, DeSantis isn’t simply willing to stand by as the agency says ‘no.’

The state of Florida will step in where the federal government is refusing to help disaster-blighted homeowners, the governor announced.

“Today I’m announcing Florida will be providing up to $25 million through state funds to purchase building materials and provide those materials to verified nonprofit organizations to restore damaged homes to livable conditions — so that Floridians can move back into their own homes,” DeSantis pledged at a Monday news conference.

The funds for building materials will be drawn from Florida’s general revenue fund.

An additional $35.2 million in donations to the Florida Disaster Fund will be used for critical repairs on homes carried out by nonprofit organizations.

Hurricane Ian caused between $50 billion and $65 billion of insured damages to Florida property owners, according to CNBC.

This is not the first time FEMA has denied Florida federal funds intended to mitigate the damages of natural disasters.

The Biden administration rejected a request for federal assistance for two tornado-hit Florida counties earlier this year, according to Florida Politics.

DeSantis criticized the Biden administration for the decision, directing Florida’s Department of Emergency Management to appeal the federal determination, according to the Fort Myers News-Press.

President Joe Biden arrived in Florida for photo opportunities at hurricane-stricken disaster sites days after Hurricane Ian.

Twitter users called out the Biden administration and FEMA for the denied funds.

Obama Appointed Judge Pulverized After Ruling…

(FreedomWire.org) – A federal judge who was appointed by former President Obama is facing scrutiny for placing a temporary halt on Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ signed law that prevents “woke” indoctrination in higher learning institutions in the state.

Chief U.S. District Judge Mark Walker issued a ruling on Thursday to temporarily stop the “Stop Wrongs to Our Kids and Employees (W.O.K.E.) Act,” which is known as the Individual Freedom Act, The Daily Wire reported. This means that the law cannot be enforced on college campuses until it is adjudicated.

“The law officially bans professors from expressing disfavored viewpoints in university classrooms while permitting unfettered expression of the opposite viewpoints,” the judge said. “Defendants argue that, under this Act, professors enjoy ‘academic freedom’ so long as they express only those viewpoints of which the State approves. This is positively dystopian.”

He said that “our professors are critical to a healthy democracy” as he called them “priests of democracy” who “shed light on challenging ideas.”

The late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia’s son, Christopher J. Scalia, said that “That whole sentence is embarrassing” in reference to the “priests of democracy” line.

“Ah yes, the American university, a flourishing marketplace of ideas,” law professor Adrian Vermeule quipped. “‘Priests of democracy’ is correct, although not in the sense the judge intended.”

“We need to start getting rid of these repulsive judges — or giving them IQ tests,” conservative David Reaboi said. “This clown is dumber than dirt.”

“Priests of democracy.’ The left actually wants to publicly fund religion, as long as it’s their religion,” Jarrett Stepman, of The Daily Signal said.

“Whatever happened to separation of church and state,” attorney Will Chamberlain said. “If professors are ‘priests of democracy’ then universities are churches, and must do without all government funding.”

The law, which the Florida legislature passed in March, prohibits public K-12 schools and universities from teaching eight concepts that constitute “discrimination” and lets parents sue if their children are taught those concepts. It also targets employers who require their workers to partake in woke trainings.

The banned concepts include that a person is “inherently” racist or sexist “whether consciously or unconsciously” due to his race or sex, that a person “bears personal responsibility for and must feel guilt” for actions committed in the past by other members of the same race, and that virtues like hard work, fairness, objectivity, and racial colorblindness are racist.

The act enhances enforcement of the Florida education board’s June decision to ban public schools from teaching Critical Race Theory and the 1619 Project, which reframes American history with slavery at the center.

DeSantis and Republican lawmakers have touted the law, saying it will prevent both students and employees in Florida from harmful, woke classes and trainings.

Governor DeSantis’ Press Secretary Bryan Griffin said that the governor “strongly disagreed” with the judge’s decision.

“This recent ruling included several victories for our legal team. We expect many more and ultimately to prevail in this litigation,” he said to The Daily Wire.

“The Stop W.O.K.E. Act protects the open exchange of ideas by prohibiting teachers or employers who hold agency over others from forcing discriminatory concepts on students as part of classroom instruction or on employees as a condition of maintaining employment. An ‘open-minded and critical’ environment necessitates that one is free from discrimination,” he said.

In December Gov. DeSantis’ touted the legislation as something he believed was needed on college campuses.

“In Florida we are taking a stand against the state-sanctioned racism that is critical race theory,” he said. “We won’t allow Florida tax dollars to be spent teaching kids to hate our country or to hate each other. We also have a responsibility to ensure that parents have the means to vindicate their rights when it comes to enforcing state standards. Finally, we must protect Florida workers against the hostile work environment that is created when large corporations force their employees to endure CRT-inspired ‘training’ and indoctrination.”

Gov. Newsom Confirms He Will Run For President With One Stipulation…

(FreedomWire.org) – Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom of California will run for president in 2024 should President Joe Biden not seek re-election, according to a report by The Wrap on Monday.

One source close to Newsom, a Democratic fundraiser in California told The Wrap about Newsom’s plans, which were confirmed by another source. Newsom  “absolutely is going to announce that he is running for the presidency once Biden announces that he is not running,” said the fundraiser, according to The Wrap.

Newsom, who has repeatedly sought to elevate himself on the national political stage by attacking DeSantis, wrote a letter to U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland last week in which he made the dubious claim that DeSantis — who is a lawyer — potentially engaged in “kidnapping” by having the illegal immigrants transported out of Florida.

Newsom claimed without evidence that the migrants were sent with “the intent” to “humiliate[d] and dehumanize[d].” In fact, MSNBC reported Friday afternoon said that the illegal immigrants were “not angry with Ron DeSantis” and that they are “actually thanking him for having brought them to Martha’s Vineyard.”

On Friday, DeSantis responded to the allegations by insinuating that Newsom uses an inordinate amount of hair gel that is “interfering with his brain function.”

Newsom countered with a debate challenge by retweeting a post from disgraced CBS News anchor Dan Rather.

“Hey @GovRonDeSantis, clearly you’re struggling, distracted, and busy playing politics with people’s lives,” Newsom wrote. “Since you have only one overriding need — attention — let’s take this up & debate. I’ll bring my hair gel. You bring your hairspray. Name the time before Election Day.”

Newsom has also launched television ads, including one in Florida castigating DeSantis and former President Donald Trump, which stated “Freedom, it’s under attack in your state … Republican leaders, they’re banning books, making it harder to vote … even criminalizing women and doctors.”

Although Newsom has suggested in his messaging to voters in red states that their freedoms are under attack, California ranks #48 overall in the Cato Institute’s “Freedom in the 50 States” index of personal and economic freedom.

William Ruger, vice president for research and policy at the Charles Koch Institute, and Jason Sorens, director of the Center for Ethics in Society at Saint Anselm College, authored the libertarian think tank’s report, which stated “California is one of the least free states in the country, largely because of its long-standing poor performance on economic freedom.”

The report indicated that under Newsom, “California is one of the highest-taxed states in the country … one of the worst states on land-use freedom,” and home to the weakest gun rights in the country, it’s freedoms have “weakened consistently over time.”

So far, President Joe Biden has not announced his 2024 plans, though he has mentioned previously that he wishes to run, again. Biden, 79, would turn 82 years old shortly after election day in 2024.

In a recent interview with CBS’ “60 Minutes,” Biden said that he will decide his plans for 2024 after November’s midterm elections. Biden admits it’s not certain that he’ll run.

Gov. Newsom Gets Brutally Humiliated…

(FreedomWire.org) – Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-Calif) has taken repeated aim at Gov. Ron DeSantis (D-Fla), calling him out because Americans are fleeing his state for a more freer, happier way of life in Florida. 

It turns out, Newsom’s in-laws are big fans of DeSantis’ as well. 

According to contribution records, Kenneth Siebel Jr. and Judith Siebel, the parents of Newsom’s wife, made a $5,000 donation to the Friends of Ron DeSantis PAC on April 6, 2022. 

The Siebel’s approval of the Republican may make this year’s holiday get-togethers a little awkward. 

Outkick founder Clay Travis pointed out the “humor” that Newsom’s own family likes the Florida governor, suggesting that the only thing Newsom can do is take everybody to the “French Laundry.” 

“I’m sure he’s humiliated because of how aggressive he’s come out against Ron DeSantis. There’s a possibility that this could be a presidential election in 2024 or 2028,” Travis said, adding that Newsom got everything wrong, and DeSantis got everything right. 

Siebel has a long history of donating to the Republican Party. His most recent contributions include Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) and Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark). 

Newsom was being mocked after it was revealed his family is starting to see through the lies, though Travis noted that the two may just not see eye to eye in the desired direction of the country. 

He believes that Newsom knows that DeSantis has become one of the most popular political figures in the country, making it difficult for the Democrat governor to come to terms with that. 

Back in July, Newsom released an ad slamming DeSantis claiming that Florida resident’s “freedom is under attack,” urging them to move to California where they still “believe in freedom.” 

DeSantis responded by touting the massive amount of California license plates he has seen in his state.

Mark Meuser, tweeted out an improved and more accurate commercial for Newsom.

DeSantis Goes Savage On Biden…

Joking about that during his savage, anti-Biden speech, DeSantis said “With Biden, you think of a guy staring into the teleprompter like a deer in the headlights.”

In case you missed, here’s Biden staring with dead eyes at the teleprompter and mindlessly repeating instructions.

The deer in headlights remark was just one of DeSantis’ savage attack on Biden. He also joked that he wished America a speedy recovery from Biden. DeSantis joked, “I must say he did test positive for COVID. And I want to on the behalf of the state of Florida wish President Biden a speedy recovery from COVID. And I also want to wish the United States of America a speedy recovery from Joe Biden.”

DeSantis continued to comment on what he thought Biden has failed with so far during his Presidency.

“He came in and cranked the printing presses, kneecapped American energy, and he also opened our southern border.”

“And what we’ve seen in the last year and a half is the largest illegal migration into this country in the history of the United States of America. We have record human trafficking, we have record sex trafficking, and we have record drug trafficking.”

On the other hand, DeSantis has gained the strong support of Republican voters as he boldly pushed back against not just the establishment media and the Biden administration but also Disney, which fought the state’s Parental Rights in Education bill. That has made him a top contender for the GOP presidential nomination in 2024.
