Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters Caught In Campaign Scandal…

(FreedomWire.org) – California Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters has paid her daughter over $1.2 million since 2004, which included the younger Waters getting another six figures in payments in the 2022 cycle.

“Karen Waters pocketed $192,300 from her mother’s campaign to keep her ‘slate mailer’ operation afloat between Jan. 2021 and Dec. 2022, a Fox News Digital review of Federal Election Commission filings shows. The setup involves outside campaigns paying Waters’ campaign to appear on the slate mailers – or endorsement mailers – sent out to constituents in the Los Angeles area,” Fox News reported.

“The practice is highly unusual on the federal level, and Waters appears to be the only national politician using it to grab committee cash. Slate mailers, however, are commonplace in her home state of California, though critics say it involves deceptive practices over one campaign paying another for a politician’s backing in an election. Waters received the green light to run the operation from the Federal Election Commission in the fall of 2004. Since then, Karen Waters has received more than $1.2 million in payments from her mother’s campaign,” the outlet added.

It’s legal for federal lawmakers to employ family members on campaigns, but the practice is frowned upon by ethics experts.

Now, Republicans are aiming to put a ban on lawmakers from putting family members on the campaign payroll after many prominent Democrats have been called out over the practice.

Republican Texas Rep. Pat Fallon has introduced legislation called the Family Integrity to Reform Elections Act, which would prevent campaign funds from going to a candidate’s immediate family.

The bill, if passed, would also make the candidate directly responsible for knowingly violating the provision.

“The Family Integrity to Reform Elections (FIRE) Act is a critical step to reducing nepotistic practices in American campaigns. Allowing direct family members to be on the take of campaigns must come to an end. For example, Maxine Waters, the worst perpetrator, has given her daughter over $1.1 million in campaign funds. This is utterly egregious, and I will not stand by as the integrity of our elections is further diminished,” Fallon told the Daily Caller.

“Maxine Waters [paid] $1.1 million to her daughter from campaign funds,” Fallon said in a statement. “Ilhan Omar, $2.9 million to her husband from campaign funds. James Clyburn, over $200,000 to multiple family members from his campaign.”

“The numbers speak for themselves,” Fallon added. “Americans are sick of politicians abusing their voters’ hard-earned money. This modern-day spoils system must end. My bill shines a light on shady campaign finance practices while punishing those who take advantage of these funds to enrich their families.”

“Karen Waters, who has been organizing slate-mailing operations to bolster her mother’s re-election for nearly two decades, and her company, Progressive Connections, have received more than $1.2 million since 2003 for campaign services, including ‘slate mailer management’ fees and ‘campaign managing services,’” Fox News reported.

“A Citizens for Waters campaign committee filing from earlier this week shows that the younger Waters received $24,000 from the committee between January and March 2022. Slate-mailing is an uncommon practice in federal elections, where a consulting firm is hired to create a pamphlet of sorts that contains a list of candidates or policy measures and advises voters on how to cast their ballots,” the report added.

“The Family Integrity to Reform Elections (FIRE) Act, to be introduced by Rep. Pat Fallon (R-Texas) on Monday, would bar any candidate running for federal office from compensating immediate family members for campaign services,” the New York Post reported back in June.

“It is currently legal for lawmakers to employ family members to work on campaigns. However, Federal Election Commission regulations prohibit paying candidate relatives a salary unless they are ‘providing bona fide services to the campaign” and the salary represents “fair market value of the services provided.’ The legislation – first reviewed by The Post – would extend the ban to any political committee ‘established, maintained or controlled by a candidate or an individual holding Federal office’ – blocking any current lawmaker from compensating a family member for working on their campaign,” the report added.

Joe Manchin Ducked Out Of Answering The Question…

(FreedomWire.org) – Democrat Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia refused to get behind a Joe Biden reelection campaign. Sen. Manchin made comments that suggested other Democrats will challenge President Joe Biden in the 2024 Democrat presidential primary.

“Are you going to endorse Joe Biden if he runs for re-election?” a CBS host asked the West Virginia Democrat Sunday morning. “Oh, there’s plenty of time for the election,” Manchin responded, attempting to duck out of answering the question.

“He’s the leader of your party!” the CBS host interjected to which Manchin fired back by saying, “No, the bottom line is let’s see who’s involved.”

On March 2, the West Virginia senator made similar comments when speaking with Fox Business’ Neil Cavuto. When asked if he would support Biden’s reelection campaign, Manchin said: “Well, let’s just see who’s all in the game. I’m not going to say I’m going to support or not support somebody. I want to see and find the best path — the best pathway for America. We got to get out of the toxic relationships that we have in our political process.”

Cavuto asked why the Democrat senator would not automatically support the Democrat president for reelection. Sen. Manchin refused to give a concrete explanation but said he will endorse whoever “has the best plan” and will “find a pathway that basically brings America together.”

The moderate lawmaker skirted several attempts to pin down his positions, saying he’s saving it all for December, when he announces whether or not he’ll run for reelection to his own seat—or maybe even president. “I’ll make my political decision in December, whatever it may be,” he said. Manchin most recently won reelection in 2018 with a narrow plurality of the vote.

The Voters Deserve To Know The Truth About Sen. John Fetterman…

(FreedomWire.org) – There is a rumor swirling that Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) is essentially “brain dead” and it’s being hidden “because keeping him in office until August 18th avoids a special election.”

A viral tweet from John Cardillo, a former NYPD officer turned conservative radio host and social-media influencer, called for an investigation into whether Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., may be clinically brain dead as Democrats engage in a cover-up to avoid a special election before August.

Cardillo’s tweet made a significant splash on social media, garnering more than a million views and 18,000 likes as of Saturday night.

John Cardillo tweeted, “Being told that Fetterman is essentially brain dead and it’s being hidden because keeping him in office until August 18th avoids a special election which Republicans would most certainly win. This must be investigated.”

This wouldn’t be the first time Fetterman and the Democrats have hidden his health problems from the public. In May 2022, it was reported Fetterman suffered a major stroke that almost took his life just months before the mid-term elections.  Democrats hid the seriousness of his condition and pushed him to campaign when he was not even capable of holding a conversation.

Fetterman did not come clean on his health for years regarding his heart disease or how damaging last year’s stroke was. He now has a pacemaker and defibrillator implanted, and it was only recently reported that he has “serious mental health challenges” from the stroke that have taken a “psychological toll” on him.

Fetterman is much worse than he, his wife, and staff are telling the public after checking into the hospital for clinical depression on February 15.

It is now being reported that Fetterman may have been hospitalized because he is “unable to take care” of himself or “needs a better plan to take care of himself, both physically and emotionally.”

Instead of questioning Fetterman’s health and ability to serve, Democrats are spinning the narrative and calling him “brave” for admitting his problem and seeking help by checking himself into a hospital for it. Pennsylvania’s new Democrat Governor, Josh Shapiro, even said he will reject any suggestions that Senator John Fetterman should resign.

Fetterman’s near-fatal stroke was widely concealed by and later downplayed the media during his senatorial race last year, enabling him to handily defeat celebrity doctor Mehmet Oz on the strength of early mail-in balloting before the two had even debated.

While Fetterman is sick and in the hospital, his wife, Gisele, fled the country for Canada with the couple’s children for a vacation.

Congressional Democrats Refuse To Say Pledge Of Allegiance…

(FreedomWire.org) – Democratic New York Rep. Jerry Nadler shut down Republican Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz’s request to recite the Pledge of Allegiance before the House Judiciary Committee during a Wednesday hearing.

During the first Judiciary hearing with the new GOP-led Congress, Gaetz put forward an amendment to recite the Pledge of Allegiance at the start of each hearing, to which Nadler responded, saying, “I would oppose it simply on the grounds that, as members know, we pledge allegiance every day on the floor and I don’t know why we should pledge allegiance twice in the same day, to show how patriotic we are.” Gaetz mentioned he thought it would be a unifying and patriotic act.

Then another Democrat representative, Rhode Island Rep. David Cicilline, introduced an Amendment to the Amendment that said the pledge could not be led by anyone who supported the January 6, 2021 incident at the Capitol.

“This pledge is a validation of your defense of democracy and the constitution,” he said. “It’s hard to take that claim seriously when, in fact, a person in some way supported an anti-government insurgency.”

“I’m talking about elected officials who swear an oath to the United States Constitution, who in some way participated in, supported, facilitated, and encouraged the insurgency against the United States,” he said. “That’s not too hard a standard.”

“I know it’s a real backbreaker,” New Jersey Rep. Jeff Van Drew said. “We can [go] that little extra mile, stand up, put our hand on our chest, say what we believe, and affirm this America we love. Come on. This can not be true. I can’t believe we’re having this debate.”

Gaetz responded saying, “Standing for the American flag isn’t controversial. Reciting the Pledge of Allegiance isn’t a waste of time. Democrats are so outraged at the idea of a daily dose of patriotism that they spent 30 minutes ranting and raving in opposition. Congress cannot expect the American people to believe they are fighting for their values when they don’t even care to recite the Pledge of Allegiance.”

“It’s absurd that Democrats on the committee don’t even want to say the pledge of allegiance. You would think it would be a simple request – not so for the Judiciary Democrats, who almost seemed allergic to reciting the pledge,” Republican North Carolina Rep. Dan Bishop said.

In 2021, House Judiciary Democrats appeared to make fun of Gaetz’s request to have the committee recite the Pledge of Allegiance at the beginning of hearings on a hot mic.

Democrats were joking about Republicans’ request to have the Pledge of Allegiance recited before committee hearings. In the video, Tennessee Democratic Rep. Steve Cohen and an unidentified House Democrat can be heard appearing to joke about the request. They were reminded by a staffer that their microphones were hot, according to the audio.

Lifelong Democrat Calls Out Her Own Party…

(FreedomWire.org) – A self-professed lifelong Democratic voter is fed up with her party and is calling out local Democratic officials amid spiraling crime rates after she witnessed an armed carjacking in front of her own home. Neighborhood commissioner Denise Rucker Krepp, a lifelong resident of Washington, D.C., says it’s time for the city to get serious about criminal activity.

In an interview with Fox News, Krepp “pushed back against those in her own party who are advocating for a sweeping criminal code overhaul to soften repercussions on crime,” the outlet reported. Krepp believes the measure will have a horrendous impact on the city.

“I think it has to come down to every single person being impacted, and that’s what’s happening in my single member district where I’ve had a rape and murder, armed carjackings, home invasions, robberies, stabbings, shootings,” Krepp told Fox & Friends, arguing the crime wave is affecting people of every political persuasion.

She went on to say letting people go free after being charged with crimes leads to more crime.

“I don’t have enough fingers to count all the crimes that have occurred, and that’s why my constituents are saying enough is enough,” she added. “We need help. We need more police on the streets. We need more prosecutions.”

If the reforms go into effect, they would restore jury trials for misdemeanors and get rid of mandatory minimum sentences for all crimes except first-degree murder. In addition, the measure would make it simpler for convicted criminals to fight for early release, Fox News reported.

“Armed carjackings are through the roof right now,” Krepp said. “We’re at 464 right now this year, so while maybe murders are down, armed carjackings certainly aren’t down, and neither are the other major crimes in the city.”

“We’ve got to address that, and the laws that the D.C. Council are passing, it’s not helping,” she said, adding that no Democrats have reached out to her thus far indicating they will change their mind about the measure.

“To be honest, I’m very puzzled why they’re doing this,” Krepp said. “I don’t know why you would want to support the early release of rapists and murderers, and that’s why I sought help from Congress.”

“I believe that rapists should serve their full sentence, and if the D.C. Council wants to release them, fine. Let’s go to Congress and seek their help,” she added.

Other Democrats have ripped members of their party for downplaying crime and suggesting that changes to long-standing crime policies are helping.

Earlier this month, a New York Democrat blasted Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez after comments she made in which she downplayed “smash-and-grab” robberies which are on the rise in many major cities.

Former New York Assemblyman Dov Hikind took aim at Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for doubting the rise of smash-and-grab robberies in the United States.

Hikind said Ocasio-Cortez has been pushing for policies such as defunding the police and bail reform, which Hikind claimed have led to an increase in crime.

“AOC is out of control. I don’t think she’s living on this planet,” he said in an interview with Fox News at the time. “She’s a danger — I really think she’s a danger. These crimes that are being committed — there are real victims out there.”

He went on to call on other members of the Democratic Party to speak out against her.

“She is a disaster for the average American because of her policies and the things she advocates for and the fact that so many Democrats are fearful of her and the radical Left,” he said. “AOC doesn’t care about victims. She cares about the criminal.”

Ocasio-Cortez recently expressed doubt about the rise in smash-and-grab crimes across the U.S. in an interview with the Washington Times.

“A lot of these allegations of organized retail theft are not actually panning out,” shesaid. “I believe it’s a Walgreens in California [that] cited it, but the data didn’t back it up.”

The paper noted: “She made the claim after scores of videos documented a rash of attacks by rampaging thieves and reports from big-box stores across the country about an uptick in organized retail theft and violence against employees.”

New Details In Paul Pelosi Attack Released…

(FreedomWire.org) – Police bodycam footage was released on Wednesday reportedly showing David DePape’s alleged attack on Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul Pelosi.

Prosecutors played a 15 seconds clip showing the moment when police arrived in response to an intrusion at Pelosi’s San Francisco residence, KRON4 reported. The footage allegedly showed DePape attacking Pelosi with a hammer as police arrived on the scene, as well as the moment DePape was charged and arrested.

Reporters present in court while the clip played could only hear the video, because the screen faced toward the judge, according to KRON4.

“Good morning, what’s going on man?” an officer said to DePape upon entry, according to KRON4.

“Everything’s good,” DePape allegedly replied in the footage.

“Drop the hammer!” the officer demanded.

“Uh nope,” he said.

There was an audible struggle as DePape allegedly struck Pelosi with a hammer, KRON4 continued. One officer ran at DePape and brought him to the ground, according to the outlet, while Pelosi laid unconscious in a pool of blood.

Deputy Public Defender Adam Lipson reportedly asked San Francisco Police Department officer Kyle Cagney if Pelosi appeared to be injured when the police arrived at his residence. Cagney said Pelosi appeared to be unharmed, according to KRON4.

San Francisco Police Department Lt. Carla Hurley previously conducted an hour-long interview with Pelosi at San Francisco General Hospital on Oct. 30. She was called to the witness stand during DePape’s court appearance Wednesday.

Pelosi reportedly told Hurley that DePape woke him up at 2:10 a.m. and repeatedly asked “Where’s Nancy?”

“[Pelosi] asked [the alleged suspect], why do you want to talk to Nancy? He replied, she was second-in-line for the Presidency and they are all corrupt and we need to take them out,” Hurley continued, according to KRON4.

Pelosi then called 911 on speakerphone, Hurley told the court, according to KRON4. DePape was allegedly holding a hammer and plastic zip cords and kept repeating he could “take” Pelosi “out.” Pelosi answered the door when police arrived.

DePape approached Pelosi’s right side with the hammer, leading Pelosi to grab the handle of the weapon, Hurley told the court, according to the outlet. Pelosi allegedly told Hurley his last memory of the incident is of the suspect yanking the hammer out of his hand before he, Pelosi, woke up on the floor in a pool of blood.

The court played a tape of Hurley conducting an interview with DePape on Oct. 28.

“Do you know why you are in custody?” Hurley asked.

“Oh absolutely. I’m not trying to get away with it. I know exactly what I did,” DePape told Hurley, according to KRON4. “The lies are insane. People in Washington. It originates with Hillary. Honestly, day in and day out, the person on TV lying every day was [Nancy] Pelosi. It’s fucking insane the crime spree the Democrats have been on, persecuting the rival campaign.”

“Do you mean the Trump campaign?” Hurley asked.

“Yes, Trump. [The Democrats] go from one crime to another crime. It’s a whole fucking four years. It’s unacceptable,” DePape reportedly answered.

DePape allegedly said he intended to hold the House Speaker “hostage” and “break her kneecaps” if she told him lies.

“Did you really think that she would tell the truth?” Hurley asked.

“No,” DePape said, according to KRON4.

The Department of Justice charged DePape on Oct. 31 with attempting to kidnap a U.S. official, as well as assaulting a U.S. official’s immediate family member with intent to retaliate against the official on account of the performance of official duties. He faces up to 50 years in prison if convicted on the two counts.

Sen. John Kennedy Delivers Another One Liner…

(FreedomWire.org) – Republican Louisiana Sen. John Kennedy attacked political elites during a Sunday campaign speech given on behalf of Georgia Senate candidate Herschel Walker.

Known for his one liners, Kennedy released a campaign ad telling voters who want to defund police that they should “call a crackhead” next time they need assistance. During 2020’s race riots, he referred to Chicago as “the largest outdoor shooting range in America.”

“They’re all over Washington, DC, these high IQ stupid people. And they’re in charge. Most of them are woke. Most of them are members of the berserk wing of the Democratic Party,” Kennedy said.

“These woke, high IQ stupid people, they walk around with zip lock bags of kale that they eat to give them energy. Now, if you want to eat kale that’s up to you. I don’t eat kale. You know why? Because kale tastes to me like I’d rather be fat.”

Kennedy is a frequently sought after Republican surrogate, he also appeared during the 2022 midterms. Kennedy won his own reelection bid by 44 points.

Kennedy gave a campaign speech on behalf of Georgia Senate candidate Herschel Walker on Sunday.

Walker and incumbent Democrat Raphael Warnock advanced to a runoff after neither candidate cleared 50% in the November general election. Georgians must cast their ballots by Tuesday, Dec. 6 in the election. Several polls have shown Warnock with a slight lead.

Prominent Republicans have campaigned for Walker throughout the race, which determines whether or not Democrats will have majorities in Senate committees. Democrats have already clinched 50 seats, giving Vice President Kamala Harris the opportunity to cast tie-breaking votes. However, they can avoid another power-sharing agreement with Republicans if Warnock wins.

Both candidates have pointed to various scandals as evidence the other is unfit for office. Walker has been dogged throughout the race by allegations of domestic abuse, as well as reports that he paid for at least two mistresses to have abortions. Several news outlets have also reported that Warnock attempted to evict low-income tenants from a building that his church owns.

Sinema Stands Her Ground And Infuriates Dems…

(FreedomWire.org) – Arizona Democrat Sen. Kyrsten Sinema is not backing down on her support of the Senate filibuster and it’s not sitting well with Democrats. The well-known Democrat said she supports keeping the filibuster because it “protects the democracy of our nation.”

“As folks in Arizona know, I’ve long been a supporter of the filibuster because it is a tool that protects the democracy of our nation, rather than allowing our country to ricochet wildly every two to four years back and forth between policies,” Sinema said.

“The idea of the filibuster was created by those who came before us in the United States Senate to create comity and to encourage senators to find bipartisanship and work together. And while there are some who don’t believe that bipartisanship is possible, I think that I’m a daily example that bipartisanship is possible, not just this trip today and tomorrow that John and I are doing, but the work that John and I, and I and many other of my colleagues in both parties do on a regular basis,” she continued.

She added: “So to those who say we must make a choice between the filibuster and x, I say this is a false choice. The reality is, is that when you have a system that’s not working effectively, and I would think that most would agree that the Senate is not a particularly well-oiled machine, right, the way to fix that is to change your behavior, not to eliminate the rules or change the rules, but to change your behavior. So I’m going to continue to go to work every day, aggressively seeking bipartisanship in a cheerful and happy warrior way as I always do, and showing that when we work together we can get things done.”

“The filibuster was not created as a tool to accomplish one thing or another. It was created as a tool to bring together members of different parties to find compromise and a coalition,” Sinema said.

“And you think about our Founding Fathers when they created the Senate with two senators from every state regardless of population size, with elections staggered every six years so that only a third of the body is up for election each cycle, it was designed to be a place where you cool the passions of the House. We work together to find a compromise, and importantly, where you protect the rights of the minority from the majority regardless of which party is in the majority at the time,” she added.

The Senate filibuster is a rule that requires 60 members to end debate on most topics and move to a vote.

Sinema’s defiance has angered Democrats.

Last week, Arizona Democrat Rep. Ruben Gallego went after Sinema and West Virginia Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin for teaming up with Republicans on key bills, which stopped and slowed down President Joe Biden’s legislative agenda from crossing the finish line.

Gallego has been especially critical of Sinema’s refusal to end the Senate’s legislative filibuster.

Gallego tweeted earlier this year that Sinema and Manchin “care more about arcane Senate rules than protecting your vote.” And in June, he said that Sinema was empowering Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) by “not neutering the filibuster.”

MSN published a report detailing how Sinema may face a tough re-election in 2024 because of her support for the filibuster, which may result in some Democrats not supporting her on the campaign trail.

“Like Manchin, Sinema has angered many within her party and could face a serious primary challenge. Republicans will also likely view the state as a top pickup opportunity. Sinema has defended keeping the filibuster in place and has leveraged her party’s slim 50-50 Senate majority to notch concessions, including a deal she negotiated with Schumer earlier this summer that eliminated a carried interest loophole from Democrats’ climate and health care spending package,” MSN reported.

“That’s left some senators like Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) expressing openness to endorsing primary challengers to Sinema and Manchin. Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.) has said he’s been approached about challenging the Arizona centrist and has been openly critical of Sinema but has not committed to mounting a bid. Republicans, smarting from losses in the state in 2020 and 2022, are also eyeing the seat closely,” the outlet added.

DOJ To Investigate FTX Founder, Who Still Hasn’t Been Arrested…

(FreedomWire.org) – Some of the most notorious agencies on the planet are now paying attention to the FTX bankruptcy.

Investors hurried to withdraw their money from FTX, one of the biggest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world, last week out of concern that it was about to go under.

Sam Bankman-Fried, the business’s owner, insisted that the fund was not at risk. That proved untrue, as FTX filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Friday, and Bankman-Fried resigned as CEO.

Since then, it has been claimed that at least $1 billion in client funds have vanished, and there have been speculations of a Bankman-Fried flight to South America. He has denied this.

We discovered that at least $1 billion was lost, and FTX was also involved in dealings with Ukraine. We also know that Bill Clinton and the now-retired CEO of FTX made presentations at the most recent Clinton Global Initiative. It must be questionable if the Clintons were connected to it.

Last week, it was revealed that the World Economic Forum had removed the portion of its website that indicated a relationship with FTX.

What were the WEF and FTX doing?

The website Money.com reported that the dishonest SDNY was looking into FTX.

According to news sources last Monday, the Manhattan U.S. attorney’s office looks into FTX after its collapse, reportedly valued at more than $32 billion.

According to Reuters, which used an unnamed source, prosecutors at the Department of Justice’s Southern District of New York have started an investigation. According to reports cited by Reuters last week, at least $1 billion in customer funds had disappeared from FTX, a company based in the Bahamas.

FTX is the former third-largest cryptocurrency exchange, according to the Wall Street Journal’s reporting.

The DOJ under Biden is ridiculously corrupt. That agency looking into FTX is so unreliable it defies belief. The military branch of the Biden government is Biden’s DOJ.
