(FreedomWire.org) – A stunning new poll shows that the majority of people want to see President Joe Biden impeached.
A new Rasmussen Reports survey, showed that 52 percent -42 percent of voter support impeachment. The numbers included 77 percent of Republicans, 50 percent of independents, and 32 percent of Democrats, The Washington Examiner reported.
But the survey respondents do not believe that Republicans are going to impeach the president, with a mere 47 percent who believe they will impeach and 43 percent who think they will not.
“Support for impeaching Biden is highest among voters 40-64, who are also most likely to think that if Republicans win in the midterms, they actually will impeach the president. Retirees are least supportive of impeaching Biden,” the poll said.
Those figures have increased since April, the outlet noted, when a smaller majority — 58 percent — said they believe that Joe Biden had a role in those business deals. At the time, 60 percent said they thought that Hunter Biden sold “influence and access” to his father.
The new polling comes after overwhelming evidence suggests that Joe Biden has been involved in his family’s business deals since 2012, when he was vice president. Joe Biden and his staff have claimed seven times Joe Biden has had no part in the family scheme, but 17 instances show otherwise.
Texts from Hunter’s laptop indicate Joe Biden received 50 percent of Hunter’s “salary” for a 30-year period. The reported texts do not reveal when the 30 years began or ended and whether Joe Biden is still a part of the payment scheme as president.
“I hope you all can do what I did and pay for everything for this entire family for 30 years,” Hunter wrote to his daughter, according to a text message gleaned from the laptop. “It’s really hard. But don’t worry, unlike Pop [Joe], I won’t make you give me half your salary.”
Biden has denied any knowledge of Hunter’s business dealings.
“I’ve never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings. Here’s what I know — I know Trump deserves to be investigated,” Joe Biden claimed on the campaign trail in 2020.
“It’s a smear campaign,” he added in October 2020.
“My son has no made money from China,” he repeated just a few days later, the outlet reported.
U.S. prosecutor David Weiss, appointed by former President Trump, is deliberating whether Hunter and associates “violated money laundering, campaign finance, tax and foreign lobbying laws, as well as whether Hunter Biden broke federal firearm and other regulations,” CNN reported in July.
A grand jury has also been convened in the investigation.
